*start song*
"You're going on a what? With who?" Lorenzo asked with wide eyes.

I tried to keep a complacent expression as we spoke. "A date. With Adrian."

"As in Pukey?-"

"It's Pucey, Enzo." I corrected.

Don't get me wrong I knew that I could've had this conversation in a better way, but he had some girl to go shag and I had a date to get to, so it was best to make it quick.

The boy clenched his jaw. "I really don't give a shit about what his name is Ariana. Do you not remember when you cried in my bed for two weeks after he broke your heart? Because I sure as hell do."

There are certain ways to tell when Lorenzo Berkshire was frustrated. And the number one tell was when he called me by my full name. "People change. I'm giving him a second chance" I shrugged

"He hasn't changed. Literally two days ago I punched him for what he was saying about you! Are you seriously gonna forget about that?" His voice rose

"We dated for ten months Enzo. I can't just let that all go to waste because of three bad ones. He apologized and now I am trying to move on"

He was silent as he stared at me in disbelief. "I'm not gonna stop you Ari. But when he hurts you again, which he will, just know it's gonna hurt me a lot more than it hurts you to see you fall apart again"

This time it was my turn to be silent. The wind was the only sound heard between the two of us as it brushed through my hair. "I-I'll see you in class." I whispered before turning around and going to find Adrian.

Every part of me wanted to turn back and continue talking to him. But I couldn't. This was all for the best. "Let's just forget it all happened" Well I'm forgetting Enzo, just like you wanted.

After a while I finally found Adrian talking in a group of guys. I caught his eye and he broke out in a little smile. "Hey guys give me second yeah?"

The boys nodded as he came over to me. "Did you wanna talk about something?" He asked with a charming look.

"My answer is yes. I will give you another chance."

Adrian's eyes widened in surprise. "What made you... you know what I won't even question it." He exclaimed picking me up and spinning me around.

A laugh left my lips at his goofiness. "Don't disappoint me Pucey" I smirked as he finally set me down.

"I won't Aria. I promise." But he stopped talking and scrunched his eyebrows. "Why is Berkshire over there looking like someone kicked a puppy?"

My eyes followed his to see Enzo standing in the exact same spot that I left him, his eyes on us. He looked absolutely defeated. "Let's just go to breakfast yeah?" I whispered not looking away from.
