"Do you think she'll be awake?" Enzo asked as he walked through the Malfoy Manor doors for the first time in 3 weeks.

"Well considering the fact that Blaise said Nyx spends most of her days sleeping, and it's 8 in the morning, I'd say that the chances are slim." I snorted, opening the door to our room and setting everything inside.

Enzo let out a sigh as he observed the room, "It's been cleaned since I left"

"When was it not clean?" I questioned looking at the room that seemed to be in pristine condition

The boy shrugged sticking his hands in his pockets, "After you left"

I raised my eyebrows and wrapped my arms around his neck, "Seems like you and I both had our fair share of sucky days" I muttered

Pulling my body close to his, Enzo laid his head on top of mine. "You know that I'm still here whenever you want to talk about it right?"

I nodded my head and smiled up at him, "I know. Do we wanna go to Blaise's room to talk with him and see Nyx first?"

"Whatever you want my love" He smiled and grabbed my hand, pulling me to where Blaise's room was located and pressing a light knock on the door.

A moment passed before the door was swung open to reveal Lucille and Draco already sat in there on the bed beside a sleeping Onyx. "Hey mate" Blaise whispered wrapping his arms around Enzo in a firm embrace.

Enzo didn't hesitate before reciprocating the hug. "Been a while hasn't it?" He laughed, "How is she doing?"

Blaise nodded in agreement and looked back at the sleeping girl, "She doesn't really talk much. Asks about you guys mostly so she'll be glad to know you're back." He whispered walking back over to the bed.

We both followed him and I sat down at the foot of the bed as far as possible from Lucille. I honestly could not think of a way that she could somehow mend our friendship. So I simply tolerated her presence for the time being which seemed to be the worst punishment for her anyways.

The girl was constantly trying to make things up with me.

Enzo plopped down beside me and laid his head down in my lap, letting out a sigh. I observed the people in the room for a moment.

Together.

Everyone was together.

It was bitter-sweet in a sense. The last time everyone was together had been months ago. We were all different people then. There was no darkness constantly lurking over our lives. It was just us.

As I watched the group before me, I couldn't help but tremble lightly. Against all odds. After every single one of us were put to the test in ways that we could never imagine. After we were tortured, kidnapped, and starved.

It was us against what felt like every single person on the damned earth.

And we won.

Draco also seemed to be having the same thoughts as me because once our eyes met I saw them warm up slightly. I shot him a knowing smile and he sent one back.
