Chapter 30

~Decisions~

After the tears stopped I was left sitting in the Room of Requirement, staring blankly at the wall. No matter how many times I tried to find a possible way out of this situation, there were none. I was truly trapped this time.

By the time dinner came around, I decided to head up to the common room to maybe sleep. Forget about everything just for a while.

The corridors were empty as I walked through them, filling the halls with a sense or eeriness that matched my soul.

Once I arrived at my dorm though, I realized that I would in fact not be getting any sleep. Because when I opened the door my eyes widened to see Nyx and Lorenzo in there trying to comfort Luce, who was having a full blown episode.

"Woah..." I muttered shutting the door behind me.

The least I could do right now is be there for my friends before I destroy everyone's lives right?

Luce's eyes landed on me and she let out a sob. "Where have you been? You know what? I don't even care" She muttered before hugging me tightly.

I was thrown back by the force of her hug but slowly wrapped my arms around her and looked up to Nyx in confusion. I haven't been able to look at Enzo yet.

But I soon got my answer, "He s-said he had to let g-go of me" she sobbed, reffering to Draco.

Really, Draco? Really?

"Did he say why?" I asked

"He said too much is on the line, and that things changed. He didn't say what. Enzo you have to get it out of him. What could've changed so much that he broke up with me?" She sniffled.

I had an idea.

"You know what Enzo? Why don't you take care of Luce and I will go talk some sense into him..." I said as Luce nodded and pulled back.

"Thank you Aria. You are an amazing friend"

I simply smiled in return. If only she knew that it was my idiocy causing this in the first place.

I didn't bother saying any goodbyes as I walked out the door and up to the astronomy tower where I knew he would be sulking.

*start song*
After climbing up all the stairs I let out a large sigh once I reached the top and saw Draco sitting there, staring out into the world. "Are you serious right now?" I questioned

The blonde turned back to look at me and rolled his eyes. "It had to be done" He simply shrugged and looked back out onto the horizon.

"No it didn't have to be done Draco. You can't just push people away when you're scared"

He let out a sarcastic laugh and stormed towards me, sticking his finger in my face. "You have no room to talk Medlar. You've done that you're whole life. In fact I bet you can't even talk to Enzo right now."
