Doll woke feeling blissfully warm and no longer fatigued. There was some residual ache but she felt mostly back to normal. She found herself snuggled up next to Hawks, her face pressed against his lean chest. Her cheeks burned as she realized they were sleeping together in the same bed. She opened her mouth to say something but panicked as Hawks pressed a slender finger to her lips. His golden tawny eyes fluttered open and he gave her a long look. His eyes were filled with remorse and concern. They must be at the Paranormal Liberation Front's base of operations. She nodded her understanding; it might not be safe to talk here. Hesitantly, he removed his finger from her lips.

"Did you sleep alright?" He asked her concerned.

Doll felt her cheeks begin to redden and she nodded.

Hawks smiled as he took note of the endearing blush spreading across her pale cheeks faintly poking out of the now loose and slipping bandages she had wrapped around her body. He sat up, pulling her with him.

A soft knock at the door caused the pair of them to jump. Hawks reluctantly released Doll from his hold and motioned for her to stay put as he hopped out of bed and went to answer the door. Doll tensed as he opened the door and attempted to hide herself under blankets as she realized her bandages had come loose while she'd been asleep.

Hawks smiled faintly as he noticed Doll burying herself under the covers in an attempt to hide. He opened the door to find Re-Destro extending a basket to him. It appeared to be a gift basket for Doll as it had various toiletries, a change of clothes and quite a few rolls of fresh bandages.

"We want to make sure our guest feels welcome." Re-Destro said with a smile, his gaze flicking past Hawks to the lump on the bed slowly inchworming its way to the opposite side of the bed away from the door.

Hawks accepted the basket, "that's very thoughtful of you."

"She'll prove to be quite the asset to our cause, best for us to keep her happy." Re-Destro smiled, "why don't you two take some time to freshen up and we can have a chat in the lounge shortly."

Hawks gave nothing away as he smiled back, "sure." On the inside he was a nervous wreck. He was worried about Doll.

"Marvelous." Re-Destro turned and walked away with his ever present eerie smile.

Hawks closed the door and some of his tension eased away as Doll found the edge of the bed and toppled to the floor with a cute 'eep'. He turned to see all the blankets had fallen with her and chuckled softly as he went to make sure she was alright. There was a heap of blankets on the floor with a flailing mess in the middle as it appeared the adorably creepy girl had managed to get herself tangled up in the blankets.

"What ya doing, Chicken Nugget?" He asked with a smirk as he watched her struggle.

Doll let out a cute squeal as he called her by her new special nickname before realizing he asked her a question and recovered quickly, "I'm stuck!"

Hawks snickered quietly as he set the basket down and knelt beside the mass of blankets. He began peeling the blankets away and realized some of her bandages had managed to get entangled and knotted up in the blankets. When he finally freed her, she was bandage free. He smiled and tenderly swept some of her dark liquid obsidian hair out of her face. She looked nervous.

"Don't be nervous." Hawks began, he had to be careful with his words again, they were being monitored. "You'll be a great help to the cause, they'll love you." He tried to reassure her.

Doll nodded knowing they couldn't speak freely. "I've never really been away from home for very long..." She hoped the excuse would clear her of any suspicion from those keeping an eye on them.
