When Epin wakes up she feels something heavy on her waist. Her eyes shoot open as last night memories enter her mind. After Loki and Epin talked last night, they ended up falling asleep laying next to each other. Based on the steady breath hitting the back of her neck and the heavy arm draped over her waist, the two clearly ended up moving in the middle of the night to be 'snuggled' together.
"Good morning." A gruff voice says in her ear and she flinches at the voice. "Sorry I scared you Epin." He adds with a low chuckle.
"Good morning. I guess we fell asleep." Epin states and Loki shift in the bed, removing his arm and moving to be laying on his back, facing the ceiling.
"Indeed we did. I truly apologize for what I said last night." Loki says. Epin turns so she is facing Loki and she gently touches his arm to get his attention.
"I know. I feel it. Thank you." Epin replies and Loki's emerald eyes seem to light up at her words. He smiles at her and she can't help but grin back at him then look down.
"We should probably get up. Tony would give me so much shit if he saw us like this." She says and Loki chuckles again.
Loki begins to stand to stretch and so does Epin. "Ah, you mean if he saw me in bed with you. That would be quite the scene." He states with a smirk pulling at his lips. At least he seems to be in a better mood than yesterday.
"You need to go talk with the others. I heard them talking and they are going to train with you, That was the deal with Fury." Epin informs Loki and he groans. Just as he opens his mouth to speak, he is interrupted by a knock at his door.
Steve smiles at Epin and then looks at Loki, his grin dropping. "You have training with everyone, all but Epin. Be down in the training center in 10 minutes max." Then he leaves the room and Loki looks to Epin.
"Training center with everyone but you? I do not need to train with stupid mortals!" Loki says with clear irritation. Epin rolls her eyes at him but a small smile tugs at her lips.
"And I didn't want to babysit you yet here I am."
"Oh come on, you don't mind me now." Loki argues back.
"That's not the point." She says with a smile.
"Why are you the only one not going." Loki asks, raising an eyebrow.
"Technically Thor and I are the only ones not going, he gets way too competitive as we have learned and I have a temper and risk killing everyone, so we sit out." She sighs. "You have to go to training or Nick will put you back in the cell. You need to go now or you will be late. Tony likes it when you are 5 minutes early."
Loki groans then leaves the room without another word. Epin watches him the whole way leaving the room and he could feel her eyes on him. He thought she looked very attractive this morning and for some reason, he felt like Epin belonged in his arms. He has never held anyone like he ended up doing last night and he could not take his mind off of it the whole way to training. Epin never let her eyes leave his back until he had turned down another hallway. Something about Loki was pulling her in and she feared she wouldn't be able to stop it. How could she feel.....affection? How could she feel that way about someone as cold and closed off as Loki. She knew why, because for once in his life, he didn't like being cold and closed off with her, he wanted to have a relationship with her even though he was terrified whether he would admit it or not.
She teleports to wherever Thor currently is and when her feet are steady on the ground she notices Thor was in the lab, messing around with the computer. Epin quietly peeks over his shoulder and sees that he is checking up on Jane's whereabouts. He really was in love with her.
