Once the two were separated and she was in her own guest room for the next few days, Epin laid face down on the bed, dreading the dinner that was to come. There was a quiet knock on the door and before Epin could respond, in piled two servants who were holding a gorgeous green dress in their arms. The two ladies smiled at Epin and Epin immediately zoned out for the next hour as the two got her all presentable for this dinner.

"Lady Epin, we are finished." One of the ladies responds and only then does Epin realize she is standing in front of a mirror. Her eyes widened at the sight of herself. A green fabric drapes down her whole body, yet it hugs all of her curves in the perfect places. The last time she wore a dress like this was when she was still considered royalty on her home planet. She had to admit, she felt gorgeous. She smiles at herself in the mirror, her necklace accentuated from the dark green color. It looked like a magic orb on her neck and she loved it.

"Who picked this?" Epin manages to speak.

"Our Queen, Lady Frigga." The other servant spoke. "She thought it would match her son perfectly." The girl adds, briefly mentioning Loki. The mention of him makes Epin smile wider than before.

It wasn't long before Epin was brought into the dining hall. She felt out of place when she was away from Loki but the second she saw him seated at the dining table she felt herself release a breath she didn't know she was holding in. When she entered the room it was like all conversation had stopped. Epin felt very on the spot and wished she could just disappear. She stood frozen in her spot, just staring at Loki with pleading eyes.

Loki's breath hitched in his throat when he saw Epin. She was truly beautiful, and he never called anything or anyone beautiful. He was saving it for something truly special and he knew in this moment that it belonged to Epin. She was wearing his colors in a dark green gown and he genuinely couldn't even move. All he could manage was staring with slightly wide eyes. His father has stopped talking and all eyes were trained on Epin.

It was only when Thor cleared his throat to get his brother's attention that Loki snapped out of his trance and quickly stood from his seat. He walked over to Epin, never breaking eye contact with her. She began to walk towards him as well to quicken the exchange.

"You...you look very nice." Loki manages to say, trying not to reveal everything Epin was doing to him by looking the way that she did. He wasn't sure if he was ready to let her know just how perfect he thought she was. For the first time in his life, he saw something as completely and totally beautiful.

"Thank you, Antlers." She says, finally able to relax a little when Loki reached her. He chuckled at his nickname, surprising his family at how relaxed he was with this stranger, then began to direct her towards the dining table.

"Glad to see you are finally joining us." Odin drags out with disapproval in his voice.

"It is not Epin's fault--" Loki starts but immediately stops when he feels Epin place a hand on his upper arm, calming him down so he doesnt start an argument. She can feel annoyance and irritation radiating off of him. Jane noticed this as well as Frigga and to say they were surprised that Epin was able to keep Loki calm and not fighting and arguing was an understatement.

"Please have a seat." Odin states, ignoring his son's almost outburst. Both Epin and Loki sit next to each other and to say Epin was grateful to be placed by him was an understatement. She probably would have passed out if she had to be any closer to Odin. She almost had to laugh at herself because here she is the goddess of power and manipulation yet she is intimidated by an old man in a gold cape. In all fairness, she usually just uses her abilities to get what she wants against Tony and Clint, she feels bad otherwise.
