Loki and Epin teleport to the floor where their rooms are. She lets go of his arm the instant they are on the floor. Loki glances down at her as she thinks about which room he can have.
"What now?" He asks her with a sly tone in his voice. She looks up at him and crosses her arms over her chest. Epin stares into his emerald eyes and for the first she notices how human he really looks. It surprises her and makes it extremely hard for her to look away. They seem to stare at each other in awe for minutes. Loki feels captivated in her sea blue eyes. They pull him in and make him want to tell her all of his secrets. It is absolutely terrifying for the God of Mischief. He is the first to look away from Epin which makes her awkwardly glance to the ground. She feels like they just shared some sort of intimate thing. She pushes the idea from her mind when she remembers she is just here to bring him to his room. Nothing more should come of this.
"Your quarters will be just down here. Follow me." She says pointing towards the hallway that lies in front of them. She begins walking down the dark hallway and uses fire from her hands to light the way. Loki watches her manipulate the fire element with an impressed expression. She stops in front of an empty room and gestures for Loki to enter. He looks at her with a cold, blank face before sauntering into the room and looking around at its plain design. It was a very monotone setting, all the same color and it only contained the bare, basic elements of a bedroom.
"There are clothes in the dresser for you to change into. I am sure your armor is uncomfortable." Epin says and points over to the gray dresser.
"You are far from correct. I prefer traditional clothing." Loki says in a way that makes him feel above Epin.
"Well, I am more of a joggers kind of girl so if you want some they are in the dresser." She states and gives him one last glance before starting to walk out of the room.
Loki looks at her with a face of shock. Was she really going to leave him alone? "You trust me not to do anything out of order?" He asks with furrowed eyebrows of confusion.
Epin turns to face him and simply replies "Yes."
"What happened to 'there is no trusting the God of Mischief?'" Loki asks a smirk playing at his lips with his shoulder squared to Epin.
"I grew out of it. If you trust me, I will trust you." She replies and then leaves the room closing the door behind her. For a split second his smirk turned into a genuine smile. He has never had anyone so openly say they will trust him. Especially not someone like Epin. He can't help but think what a strange person she is. He looks around and decides he might just spend his time alone for once for the rest of the day.
Epin stands in the kitchen as she prepares a bowl of cereal for her lunch. A bowl of froot loops seemed to sound the most inviting for the meal. As she pours milk into her bowl over the colorful cereal pieces, she hears someone walk into the kitchen.
"Hey Epipen." Steve says as he leans on the kitchen island and comfortably folds his arms in front of his chest.
"Steve." Epin nods, glancing at him and then back at her cereal.
"How are things with Loki? Has he tried anything yet?" Steve asks with genuine curiosity laced into his voice. Epin sighs, feeling bad for Loki considering no one has faith in him but her and Thor.
"He is good so far, he hasn't tried anything. I don't expect him to either to be honest." Epin replies trying to show Steve that everyone needs to stop looking at Loki like he is a ticking time bomb. Even if he is one.
"You really trust him don't you?" He asks in surprise even though he understands it's in Epins nature to want to understand someone fully before judging them and having doubts.
