Chapter 14 - Evilyn

Mr. Lordi and Emily turned to face the person who had emerged from the machine wreckage. A woman: tall, fierce, ebony black hair, dark demon eyes, black dress and tattered demon wings that folded behind her. Mr. Lordi's face turned into a stern scowl at the sight of her.

"So we meet again Mr. Lordi. It has been too long. You have come this far since you broke my heart and now you fall for a foolish young human with no relation to the trans-dimensional war until now!" The demon girl snarled, her lips darker than blood.

Mr. Lordi held Emily close. "Evilyn, I knew it was you. After all this time you still will not let go of the past? I did what I had to do!" He growled.

Evilyn snickered and looked at Emily. "How about it little one, did he ever tell you about me? Did he? That I was supposed to be his lover and not you?" Emily who still held onto Mr. Lordi nodded at Evilyn with fear inside.

"You did this all for love? Your love is twisted! Bred in hell!" Mr. Lordi shouted, now becoming defensive.

Evilyn laughed. "I cannot believe you think that! Mr. Lordi was it hard for you to endure that first war and grow up all alone after gaining your powers? It must have been hard since you breaking my heart is what started all this!"

Mr. Lordi let go of Emily stood in front of her. "It was not love for me! It never was! I sensed darkness in you even before the war started again! I could not be with someone who had a heart as putrid as yours! Evilyn, you destroyed my family, you nearly destroyed my ability to love until I found Emily, and now you have nearly destroyed an innocent world that you think destroyed will give you revenge! Evilyn you have gone to far, because your heart is made in hell!"

Evilyn screamed in anger her entire body suddenly became surrounded with dark fiery demon energy. Emily stepped back for her own safety and watched as Evilyn's power began to grow. It was unlike any other demon power she had seen before. Mr. Lordi did not draw his axe out, instead power began to grow inside him as well. He felt it returning once again. The vortex he used to help him defeat Evilyn's monster machine, only this time he knew it was going to be stronger.

"Evilyn no matter what you plan to do now, nothing saves your putrid heart! There is no room in heaven anymore! Because of your actions you chose to fall! You shall fall forever more! Do not think that killing me, or Emily or destroying this world will make things better. You will be left with what you always had: you are a monster!" Mr. Lordi bellowed, as he felt his body become stiff as power began to build up even more inside him.

Evilyn did not feel insulted. "I get the feeling that by monster you mean I am evil!" She snarled as her power grew inside now bolts of lightning were beginning to surround her.

This made Mr. Lordi angrier. Emily watched in horror for she had never seen Mr. Lordi this angry before. It was like his true monster nature had been revealed only this time it was more ferocious than she expected.

"Mr. Lordi.....please, don't let her upset you." She begged while holding back tears.

Mr. Lordi turned to look at her. "Stay back Emily, that is an order." He said with a firm protective tone in his voice.

Emily was relieved that he was not angry at her. Then she crouched behind some of the wreckage to watch the fight.

Bolts of lightning began to flow in Evilyn's arms. "I was going to try and win you back but now that you have chosen her over me I will kill you and your army and then I will put her head on a silver platter!"

Mr. Lordi unleashed his anger more. "YOU LEAVE EMILY ALONE!!!!!" He roared and then he grasped Evilyn using one of his powers to lift her off the ground. Evilyn struggled until she broke free and struck him in the leg.
