Epilogue - Supermonstars

Emily felt her wounds from the lightning healed as she held Mr. Lordi's hand and gazed at the fallen remains of Evilyn's body.

"What just happened?" She asked.

Mr. Lordi looked at light as it vanished and the sky began to clear of the storm back to its overcast gray. "Our love Emily, the power of our love destroyed Evilyn."

Emily was surprised. So that's how we stopped the war together, she thought as she turned to face Mr. Lordi who let go of her hand and put his arms around the waist.

"Thank you Emily. I owe you my life. I will cherish and protect you forever." He told her tenderly. Emily's heart pounded hard.

"Oh Mr. Lordi, I don't know what to say...." But before she could finish her sentence Mr. Lordi interrupted her with a quick kiss right on her lips.

"Do not say anything." He said with a smile and then he swept her into his arms and extended his wings.

"Okay where are you taking me? We are not even married yet so it's a little early for a honeymoon!"

Mr. Lordi chuckled. "Some day that will happen, we are just going to regroup with the others." He told her, and then he leapt off the building and flew down towards the city carrying her in his arms.

Mr. Lordi set Emily down as soon as he touched the ground. The other monsters approached one by one from different directions on the streets. Kalma emerged from the glass building leading a few terrified civilians behind him. Enary approached from the far left along with Awa, OX, Kita and Amen. G-Stealer and Magnum came along from the street to the right.

"All demons just died from that light atop that building. What happened up there?" Amen asked.

Mr. Lordi spoke up. "Evilyn is dead, she captured Emily and we defeated her."

Enary came over. "My lord, we have many civilians emerging. I think they want to know why we saved them."

Mr. Lordi stepped forward and looked at the huge crowd of people that quickly grew larger and larger. Mr. Lordi took Emily by the hand and spread his wings and leapt on top of a building with her where everyone could see them.

"What are you planning to do?" Emily asked as she stood beside him.

"I have a good idea, but I do not know if your people will like it."

Emily prayed that she hoped he knew what he was doing. Mr. Lordi walked towards the edge of the building to face the crowd of people and saw his monster allies standing next to him. Thank you for being here. He thought as he held Emily's hand and then he spoke.

"Citizens of the Earth. Do not be afraid. We come in peace and have saved you from the evil demons. With them no longer around you will no longer be vulnerable to what they target. I have come to see your race as harmless and intriguing. If any war is to continue we shall protect you. I know some of you are wondering why we are here and why we have helped you. The war between my kind and yours does not exist. Our real mission was to protect you from the real war that was upon my kind and the demons. Now that it is over we can live together as one. Monster and man united. We must learn to rely on one another in other to survive. That cannot be achieved by just one."

The citizens looked rather shocked and some of them began to step away. Emily spoke this time.

"He's right you know. I have grown to love him and that power allowed us to end this war. We can begin anew now only this time without fighting each other. Let us bring our worlds together and we get along. No more fighting. My bond with Mr. Lordi here was more than to just stop the war. I did it for love; he is the first one to feel this way about me. But there is more to it than that. Most of you are out there wondering as he said, why are we doing this? We are what we want to be, we stand up for what we believe. Let us join hands and become one!"
