Hello, lovelies!

Welcome to Week 27 at BUBC!

We're only three weeks away from Christmas!
Granted it's been a tough year, and I know a lot you aren't exactly feeling the Holiday Cheer, BUT it's entirely mandatory to put on ugly holiday sweaters and drink complimentary hot cocoa while you're at BUBC.

No exceptions. :)

A huge thanks to everyone for all their feedback this past week

Question of the Week:

A big thanks to amrodriguez007 for submitting this week's question.

What do you think is the biggest flaw in your partner's writing?
How could this be improved?
Try to use specific examples so your partner knows exactly what you're referring to.

I think it's safe to say that no piece of writing is perfect.

As writers, we will always and constantly be learning and improving our craft in some way or another. As we learn, we can spot errors or weak spots in our prose with more ease and make the necessary corrections.

Although we can learn by ourselves, it is much, MUCH better to have a second pair of eyes to tell you where you can improve.

So, let's try our hardest to find those weak spots and learn how to improve them.

If you're not sure what things could constitute as weak spots, here's a list of what you could look out for:

- Inconsistent story pacing
- Telling and not showing
- Lack of sensory details and imagery
- Characters lacking dimension
- Plot holes
- Refer to past BUBC chapters for others or to learn more about these.

And answer the question of the week.

Happy Holidays!
