1. Ep 31: Bani knows about Jai

Scene setup: This scene is from where Jai's identity gets revealed in front of Bani and she confronts him (Episode 31 in the original show)

Bani is shocked and shattered. Jai's betrayal was like a big blow for her. Him revealing that he never really loved her- not in satyug, not in this yug pained her. She never really loved him in this life but she trusted her partner from her former life, even if it was merely as friends. She put her faith in him, at times even over Veer, someone who would never hurt her. She mostly felt sad for Nageshwari- the one who lost her life and got cursed for a man who never loved her. The shock kept her rooted and in trance. She did not notice Jai slyly turning into his serpent form and slithering his tail around her. He gripped her tight and she realized what a fool she had been to trust this man. Her entire being filled with vengeance. She changed into her Naagin form and slipped away from him. Turning back half human, she charged at him with his tail.

'How dare you! You cheat! You know what! Damn Satyug...That happened eons ago. You got killed, I got killed and Akesh did too....Indirectly we all got what we deserved. Me for trusting, you for being such a 'astin ka samp'-quite literally and Akesh for wrong approach. But in this yug too- you never learned from your mistakes. I am only letting you be because in this yug, you did betray me but as adinaagin, mai nainsafi nahi karungi. I will not use my powers to kill you because I don't see that as a crime worth death sentence but If I get to know that this is not it. That you were as much deep in dirt as Markaat, that you betrayed naag vansh, I will banish you- Rip you apart..

'Bs kr apna bhasan adinaagin!' shouted Jai. 'Now that you know all about me, I don't need to pretend and hear all you got to say! And you will spare me? Ha ha ha ha... But I won't'

He got into his half-snake, half man roop but before he could do anything, he fell on the ground. Bani was surprised and saw Markaat make her entry. She revealed how she is the mother of Jai and Veer and attacked Bani, sending her into the cave. Laughing, Markaat sat on a nearby stone- waiting for adi naagin to unveil the mystery of the cave so she could kill her.

On the other hand, Bani too sat on a stone. Exhausted from trying to get out. Her heart clenched for Veer. Markaat's words indicated that some danger was looming over him and for some reason known only to her heart- her mind could not take this. Fear gripped her and tears brimmed in her eyes. No! She would not let anything happen to him. She prayed to Bholenath and began her tandav. Her feet started to bleed from the friction on the hard cave surface, her entire being coated in sweat and body started to revolt but she continued her Tandav. Black spots started to dance before her eyes when suddenly, she saw a stone fall from the roof. On further inspection- she was more shocked to see holy grass. Veer was safe! Her Veer was safe!.

This cave is enchanted, thought Bani and as she went on inspecting, she say snakes drawn on some walls. She got few visions from satyug. This is what Markaat sent her for, to unveil some mystery. That is why she is waiting- to make an appearance. Thought Bani- but she wanted to be sure. She hid the burning grass in a far corner, inside the cave and took her naagin form, she left out of the cave through the hole the rock had created and waited for Markaat. Soon Markaat entered the cave and was pleased to not see Bani at the entrance. She looked here and there and squealed with joy when she noticed that light from coming from a path inside the cave. She praised her Bahu comically and followed the light. Bani on the other hand observed this and covered her exit spot. She then sealed away the exit. Markaat might use her magic and get out but this would definitely keep her trapped for a while. If it took her so long to get out, it will definitely not be cake walk for her.

Bani left that area, worried about Veer. She trusted Bholenath that he must be safe but she cannot rest till she saw this by her own two eyes. She was confused for the nth time again but due to the unfamiliar feeling that she felt. As she ran further away from the cave, she heard Veer's voice. Relief surged through her, she did not know why. Bani rushed towards the voice in full speed and bummed into Veer. Her hands snaked around his muscular chest, head rested on his shoulders.

'Veeranshu!' Bani sighed in relief.

A current passed though the handsome cheel as a truck load of feeling jammed into him at the speed with which his love had entered his arms. One second he was talking to the dhabewala, worried sick about his wife and the second moment she was in his arms. Willingly! Relief, Joy and unconditional- strong love flew throughout his being. Before he could reciprocate her hug, she was pulled by the chepu champak Naag.

'Tum ye kya kr rahi ho Bani!' Jai shouted. He felt jealous at the sight of his Bani in the arms of the cheel. His heart gripped in fear. His Bani? Did he really felt that for his partner, the one he cheated in both the yugs! Did he fall for her innocent charm. Worst timing on his part. Not only did Bani not trust him now, Veer could kill him for destroying their moment and Bani might not even stop him.

'Can't you see? Markaat's wound robbed you off your sight?' Bani spat at him. She sounded so bored. Veer was surprised to see her behaviour towards his new half-brother, not that he did not enjoy that. His sweetheart was full of unpredictability today, first the hug and now this. He was bought out of his thoughts when Bani shook him.

'Veer? Are you okay? Why are you not replying ?' She patted his face. Veer held her hand to his face and breathed in relief. 'I am fine, gharwali.' Said he.

'I was so worried, Chalo yahan se, I have to tell you so much' Bani said to him.

'You are going nowhere with him!' said Jai, pointing a finger at Veer but before Veer could retaliate, Bani answered-' And I suppose a great Dhabewala Naag like you will stop an adinaagin like me'. She rolled her eyes and pulled veer away saying chalo ab.

'Gharwali? Ye tum hi ho na? Ye koi doosri Dakini to nahi h na? What happened to you this span of time? Alag keher Dha rahi ho' smirked Veer. His inside doing a happy dance at the way Bani spoke to Jai.

Bani turned to look at Veer as she made her way through the jungle, her love struck cheel was tagging behind her with a silly smile on his face.

'Just shut up!'
