HIS POV (SPELL)
"Bryce, ano wala pa rin ba?" Megan asked me so many time that I stopped counting.
"Not interested." I said. Then put the call on loudspeaker. She has been sending me pictures of her new found friends in America and their contacts. Couldn't be bothered.
I was in the Manila for my basketball try out with my team and my coach. I was planning to study here. Luckily I got an invitation from the best school in Manila to be their player. Only few was chosen.
I wanted to be a professional basketball player. I just loved the court, the excitement and the rush of blood whenever I play.
"Bakla kaba? Ni minsan wala pa akong nakitang kasama mo bukod sa akin. Dalawa lang ang pwedeng mangyari. Gusto mo ako or bakla ka. Sige pili ka!"
I winced at her words. Just because I wasn't interested means I'm gay?
"The hell? Paano ako magkakagusto sayo, mas malakas kapang kumain sa akin." I teased her. She should shut up now.
"Bad ka! Healthy ako! Atsaka kung sakaling magkaroon ng tag gutom, ako papayat palang kayo mamamatay na! Bwisit ka!"she shouted.
I laughed loudly to anger her more. She should stop being a match maker. I would never get a girlfriend not at least when I'm stable.
I was never interested in opposite sex. To me they were just headaches like my sister Abigail and my mom. They were like bulls. Strong willed and stubborn. And if I would fall in love, I would make sure she's innocent, submissive and easy to please.
"Pauwi na kami at lahat, pero wala kapang naididate! Matatalo ako sa pustahan namin nina Gia!" She shouted again. Seriously, she was like a walking megaphone.
"Then pay up." I curtly said.
"Badtrip ka! Sinasabi ko sayo, oras na mainlove ka, tatawanan talaga kita kapag naging aso kang ulol na hahabol habol sa kanya!"
I smirked. "Never."
"Wag kang magsasalita nang tapos Bryce! Sinusumpa ko!" She then laughed like a maniac and cut the line.
She was really crazy. I pity her fiancé. He would have to deal with a mad girl.
I looked at my watch then parked the car on the empty parking lot.
"Fuck!" I whispered when my phone rang for several times now.
I had a long evening last night because our coach in my school celebrated his birthday. I have hang over and killer headache. And the traffic here in Pasay wasn't helping at all.
I groaned when I noticed my stained shirt. I quickly donned it with my denim jacket then combed my hair using my fingers.
I cracked my neck while walking to the airport's arrival area.
I looked around and saw people especially men looking at some ginger headed girl laughing while running towards me. She was looking behind her. When she turned her face and looked around, I felt like someone punched me in the gut. I suddenly became paralyzed and breathless.
My mind told me to move but my body couldn't. My eyes were glued to the exceptional beauty I've ever laid my eyes on.
She had long curly ginger hair, that swayed in her every move. Her pale white skin was shining under the light. Her cheeks flushed probably from her running. Her hooded almond eyes, pretty nose and her parted lips were so sexy that my body started to react. She was a total head turner. And the way she carried herself screamed regal. Like a queen.
