WARNING: SPG (DESSERT)

"What's our program for today?" Tanong ko kay Kate habang hila hila si Alistair papasok sa office ko. This was our second day together. At laging excited si Alistair na sumama sa akin sa office. He said he wanted to be like me. So, I brought him tons of lego to play with it while waiting for me. And then tomorrow, we would go to Disneyland in France, if he behaved good today.

"Lady Iona, we have a meeting with Mr Yokohama at 10am, luncheon meeting with Mr Monteverde and his wife, 2 o'clock meeting with one of our potential buyer. And the rest of your afternoon will be available for baby Alistair." She said and crouched down to pinch his chubby cheeks. I cleared most of my schedules this week kasi ayoko naman makatulog na sa paghihintay si Alistair sa akin.

"Ow!" He complained and teared up quickly.

"Katie!" I said then pulled him away.

"Bad girl." He said looking at Kate who had a goofy grin while wiping his tears with his arm. He was pouting his red lips.

I kissed his cheeks and made him sit down on his mini table and chair.

He often comes here and take my chair so now, he has his own space in my office. With his table and chair like mine. He has everything I have, pens and papers, crayons and water colours. I even bought him canvas to play with. Para hindi mabored. Lagi ring handa ang workplace niya because, oftentimes, he would ask Alexander to drop him off at my office because he missed me. Nakakatuwa rin.

He sat on his swivel chair and started colouring his book. I knelt down and kissed his cheek.

"Mama's going to work so behave well baby okay? I won't be long. Then we'll have lunch with my friends." I said. He nodded quite absorbed with his crayons.

I stood up and went through my tablet that Katie laid on my table.

Once Alistair had gone back to his parents, I would have to double my time again. Too many people to talk to. Too many things to do. Dahil sa pagpaplano kong magpalit ng business, marami akong kailangang gawin. I want to do it personally. Hands on ako sa mga businesses ko.

It was only nine o'clock so I still have time to review my designs for the Monteverde commercial building. I was doing a collaboration with his company because his wife fancied my designs. Or she had something else in mind?

I was so glad to see Gia again after ten years. She's alive and she was that woman I saw in that elevator with her brother almost eight years ago. And she's happily married to Ashmere Monteverde now. With their ten year old son Winter. He was exactly the mini me version of Ashmere. Lucky duck. Megan married her fiancé twice and was pregnant with their second one. And Arana's happy too with her husband and son.

Lahat masaya at may sarili nang pamilya. Ako naman? Siguro oras na nagdivorce na kami ni Bryce, hahanap nalang ako ng pwede kong makarelasyon physically. Ganoon naman ang mga lalaki ngayon. No string attached. And alam kong hindi na ako magmamahal ulit so wala kaming magiging problema ng magiging sex partners ko.

Kate called me to let me know that Mr Yokomaha was waiting in my conference room.

Mabilis akong lumapit kay Alistair at nagpaalam. Kate would be with him while my other secretary Lianne would come with me.

He nodded and gave me a big grin. I sighed in relief. He's always well behaved. So wala akong problema. I kissed him again then went outside.

An hour and half later, after I finished my meeting, Kate told me that my baby's missing! She didn't want to disturb me so she just decided to look for him. My heart was drumming so fast in my chest.
