lunch and library

(Virgil pov)
"What's up you- lunch!" I hear Remus beem as he walks down the stairs and right into the kitchen.
He softly and gently kisses Janus on his cheek and grabs a cup of water sitting down at the table I am sitting at.
"You know when I told you not to hurt him, I said it to the wrong person apparently" he says quietly and gives me a weak smile again.
"Heh" I say quietly looking back down at my phone, "I'm sorry" he says grabbing my attention again. "It's not your fault" I say quietly, "well I apologize on his behalf" he chuckles.
"Foods ready" Patton smiles as he puts down the pasta on the table me and Remus are sitting at.
Everyone sits down and I look over to the empty spot next to me. Everyone's talking suddenly gets quite and I look around confused noticing everyone looking towards the stairs, I turn around to see Roman, hes wearing the same clothes as earlier but his hair a lot more messy and his eyes red and puffy, he wipes his eye as he grabs a plate, puts some food on it and leave to the stairs again "you dont want to have lunch with us?" Logan says in almost a threatening tone.
"Eh okay" he says and turns around sitting down next to me. I see how everyone is glaring at him while we all are in silence.
"I wanna go to the library later" I say breaking the silence getting everyone's attention.
"Roman can go with you, he was talking about a book he wanted to read a few days ago" Remus says glaring at Roman.
"If you want to go with me sure" he says quietly more directed to me.
"Sure, what book?" I smile at him
Okay just start over.
You can fix this.
"Its a fairy tale book" he says with a weak smile.
"Cool" I respond quietly
I look up to meet Janus' eyes, he smiles at me softly and nods, like he knows what I'm thinking. He always seems to know what I'm thinking.

"Here pat" I say as I give him the last plate from the table. "Okay now kiddo be safe! And call if anything happens" he smiles at me and softly strokes my cheek. "Okay dad" I joke and start putting on my black shoes. I see Remus walking up to Roman whispering something into his ear causing Roman to look down into the ground and then up at Remus, and then they just hug each other tightly. I dont really understand what's happening but something clearly is.

"Ready to go?" I ask as they let go from each other, "yeah let's go" he smiles and we both leave the house. The way to the library was about a 15 minute walk. It wasnt raining anymore but everything seemed to be wet.
"I'm sorry, about.. that" he quietly says not looking at me "I honestly dont know what's happening, but I accept the apology" I say and look at him finally making eye contact again.
"It wont happend again" he says quietly looking at his shoes.
"I trust you" I say taking his hand, he looks into my eyes and slowly strokes my hair out of my eyes revealing my freckles and well. My eyes.

"I didnt know you had freckles" he says quietly "I'm pretty good at hiding them" I smirk at him.
"You shouldn't, they are absolutely gorgeous" he says not taking his eyes off them.
"My eyes are up here" I smirk and put my finger under his chin slightly lifting it up I notice him blushing and my own cheeks getting warm.
He softly puts one of his arms on my shoulder and looks down at me slightly. He puts his other hand on my lower back and I cup his face with both of my hands.
"Go on" I say knowing full well what's he's trying to do.
He slowly leans forward and kisses me on my lips, pulling me tighter towards him as he does.
Just like the last time everything around us seems to disappear when his warm and soft lips are on mine. It wasnt rushed, it wasnt rough either.
It was nice and passionate but still very soft and slow.

I feel him put his hand on the back of my head as I lean into it more, we both lean back and look into each other's eyes again.
"Wanna keep walking?" He says and smiles
"Sure" I say and grab his hand as I start walking again. "Can I ask you something?" He says after a bit of comfortable silence.
"Go for it" I smile and look at him
"In the grocery store, before our first kiss" he says almost sounding unsure "mhm" I respond waiting for him to keep talking.
"What happened?" He says softly making circles on my hand with his thumb.
"I just got anxious." I say quietly starting to remember that day.
"I promise I wont leave you again" he says softly.
"Thank you" I say back at him as we walk into the library.

(Patton pov)
"Patton they are gonna be okay" Logan says as he grabs my hand. "B-but what if they argue and Roman just runs off" I say as I try to shake Logans hand off.
"What is Virgil supposed to do?" I say starting to get even more worried. I have been walking back and fourth in my room for the past 20 min while Logan is sitting on my bed trying to calm me down. "Patton just breath" he says as he attempts to grab my hand again "what if Virgil gets a panic attack and Roman doesn't know what to do" I say as I once again shake Logans hand off and keep walking. "Patton we both know that Roman does know what to do" he says softly as he also stands up. "What if he forgets?" I say more to myself than to Logan, grabbing my hair as I keep walking. "Patton look at me" Logan says sounding rather irritated. I stop and look into his dark eyes emidatly calming down slightly.

"They are going to be okay, Virgil is gonna be okay, Roman is gonna be okay and their relationship is going to be okay" he says looking into my eyes. "O-okay" I say softly trying to pick up my own breath.
I look down at the floor letting the shame of freaking out like that wash over me.
"Patton look at me" he says again, I quietly look up at him and weakly smile.
He cups my face and kisses me on my lips as he takes a step closer to me. I kiss back, the familiar feeling of his hands on my cheek and his lips on mine was a feeling I never want to forget.

One of his hands slowly move to my waist and the other one to the back of my head, I put my hands around his neck letting him lead.
Slowly both of his hands are on my hips as he nibbles on my bottom lip asking for entrance with his tounge, I smile and open my mouth slightly feeling his hands move slightly towards each other and back over my body just as he puts his hands on my lower back and starts to slide downwards the door bell rings and Janus shouts
"ROMAN AND VIRGE ARE HERE"
"Ah" Logan says softly as he leans away from the kiss and removes his hands. I pout slightly but kiss him on his lips and start walking down the stairs to meet Vigil and Roman.
I turn around in the staircase to see Logan not walking that far after me, he smiles softly and I turn around and keep walking.
