Chapter Twenty Four

Biglaan ang pagdilat ng mga mata ko ng magising muli ako at mag-isa na lang ako sa kama.

Memories of what happened earlier flashed back on my mind and I felt my cheeks heat up on that memory.

I was about to stand up when I felt pain all over my body. I'm all sore. I feel like I worked out for hours! I'm not even exaggerating.

It really did happen?

I guess the pain I'm feeling right now is evident enough to prove that it really happened.

Pinakiramdaman ko ang sarili, I am fully clothed. I don't remember getting some clothes on before I passed out so it must've been Reid.

I smiled at the thought that he took care of me after I fell asleep.

I slowly stand up this time to walk to the bathroom and to take a shower. I took off the clothes I'm wearing in front of the mirror inside the bathroom and my breath escaped me when I saw all the red marks all over my body.

And I mean a lot! Like literally everywhere! Hindi ko man lang naramdaman ang mga ito kanina. I would've stopped him from leaving these marks!

What the hell?!

But it's not like I can do something about it and I won't deny that I enjoyed what happened with us.

Mas lalo lamang akong pinamulhan ng pisngi ng muli kong ma-alala ang mga nangyari kanina.

I should stop.

Kaya naman naligo na lang ako ng mabilis kahit na sobrang sakit ng katawan ko at mas lalo lamang humapdi ang pagitan ng mga hita ko ng mabasa iyon ng tubig. Binilisan ko ang pagligo at saka lumabas ng banyo at ika-ikang naglakad.

Only wearing my bathrobe I heard a knock on my door. Sinilip ko muna kung sino iyon at nakitang si Rain at Ate Autumn iyon. Pinagbuksan ko sila ng pinto at saka pinapasok.

"We've been waiting for you to wake up Ate, hindi ka man lang ba marunong magcheck ng phone mo?" reklamo ni Rain bago humiga sa kama. "My head hurts."

"That's what you get for drinking too much." masungit na sabi ni Ate Autumn saka umupo naman sa kama.

"Anong oras ba natapos ang party na iyon?"

"I don't know, around twelve I think?" sagot naman ni Rain kahit na hindi sigurado.

Umiling na lang ako saka tumalikod upang maghanap ng masusuot. I went for a summer dress that I bought yesterday. This will do.

"Anyway, we're here because there has been a change of plans." humarap ako sa kanila.

"What?"

"Pierre went back to Manila when he got an emergency call..." tuloy ni Ate sa sinasabi.

"And?"

"Ate Winter, Blaze, and Reid went with him."

Kumunot ang noo ko ng marinig ang pangalan ni Reid.

"Bakit kasama siya?"

"I'm not sure.. but he said he'll be back as soon as he can."

Natahimik ako. I just don't see why Reid has to go with them? Or him? Or whatever. Anong mayroon?

"Let it go Ate, he said he'll be back."

Pa-alala ni Rain.

Tumikhim ako.

"Of course Rain, don't mind me."

Sabi ko na lang saka sila tinalikuran at bumalik sa banyo upang magbihis.
