Chapter 11

Rosie's POV

Current time

I wake up and see Matthew lying next to me. His hand is around my waist and he's fast asleep. I can't help but smile. He's so peaceful. I love it. I love him. I am so glad that I have him instead of Andrew. Matthew so much better than Andrew and Matthew will always be better than Andrew was and ever will be.

I give Matthew a soft peck on the cheek. I hope that didn't wake him up... But surely, it did...

"Good morning" said Matthew quietly and sleepily.

"Morning" I said. I snuggled into his chest. He is so warm. I love the feeling he gives me. I feel loved and protected around him. I hug him closer to me. I love his scent. It is an indescribable smell that smells like heaven.

Matthew grabbed my chin and brought my face up to his. He kissed me very passionately on the lips. "I love you" said Matthew.

"I love you too." We kiss again. I sigh happily and contently. "This is the perfect way of how to start the day" I said biting my lip.

"I agree." He sighed. I can feel that his sigh was also happy and content. "Do we have school today?"

"No." I moved closer to him. I can feel his hot breath against my face now. We are so close that we would have to focus really hard to be able to see each other's whole face. But, all I want to look into are his eyes. I could be lost in them forever.

"We should go somewhere today. Just the two of us" said Matthew now smoothing his thumb on my cheekbone.

"Oh! So, a second date?"

"Yeah." Matthew now caresses my cheek. We pull into each other closer until our lips crash together and there is no more room to breathe.

I gladly accepted to go on another date with Matthew. We decided that we should go to the mall for fun. He went back to his house to get new clothes to wear for the day.

About five minutes after he left, I got into my pink shirt that had Mickey and Minnie Mouse on it and they are kissing in Paris. Then I got my grey jeans on. I went down stairs happy with my look. I brush my long brown hair in the mirror with my bright blue eyes staring back at me. I put my hair in a bun and eat a small bagel for breakfast.

I sit in the living room waiting for Matthew. Although I was thinking of Matthew, there was a jingle at the door and I froze. I thought it was Steve. I went to hide in the closet afraid. I won't get hurt again. I just won't.

"Rosie? Are you dressed yet" asked a voice that calmed me. Matthew. I come out from the closet and go up to him. "Why were you in the closet?"

"Well, I sat here and then I heard a jingle at the door. I thought that you were Steve." I said. Matthew looked shocked then put down his bag and grabbed my hand.

"Rosie. I will never leave you alone long enough for Steve to get you! And while we are on the subject of leaving, you do know that I will never leave you for another right? My mom said that we should talk about this just so then you won't think that way." said Matthew.

I smiled at his concern. "Yes, I know that. There is no need to talk about it."

"Good, because I promise that I will never cheat on you." He leans into me and kisses me. I kiss back with all the love in my heart. We left and got into his car to go.

Once we get to the mall, Matthew rushes to my side of the car before I can get out. He opens the door for me. I get out and kiss his cheek. He closes the door behind me. He then sneaks to be behind me. He then runs up to me and picks me up from my waist.
