Matthew's POV

I wake up the next morning and immediately don't want to go do anything. I can't believe I did that to Rosie and made it worse by breaking off her friendship with Sammie. They love each other like their sisters. Used to anyway. Ugh! WHY DO I HAVE TO BE SUCH A DOOFUS!

I look to the side of me and see Rosie sound asleep. You broke your promise Matthew. What are you going to do now?

I get out of bed and go to the kitchen. I get into the breakfast area in the freezer and get the sausage. Sausage is her favorite kind of breakfast meat. Then I get into the fridge and get the eggs and bacon. I turn the unit on and get pans out.

If I am going to tell her what happened, I want to tell her while she is happy and full of food. That is the easiest way to tell her bad news.

Rosie's POV

I love Saturday mornings! They are so amazing, and something that makes it better, is sausage and eggs with cheese.

I jump out of bed and run downstairs. I see Matthew there making scrambled eggs and sprinkling cheese on them as he is mixing.

"What's this for?" I asked. Matthew seemed startled at first then looked sad, maybe even nervous.

"Well, um... we have to talk" said Matthew as he started to dish all of the food onto two plates. The sight of pancakes, sausage, bacon, and eggs makes my stomach growl like no tomorrow.

"About what?" I asked as I sit on the couch while Matthew follows.

"Well, um... about me." Matthew sets a plate in front of me and I say a mini prayer in my head to bless the food.

"What about you?" I stuff a scrambled egg in my mouth a taste the wonderful sensation of the melted cheese on the eggs.

"I don't know how to put this." He seems worried. I look him in the eye now. He looks worried that I am going to punch him in the nose and break it.

"What's going on?" I asked now serious and paying complete attention on him.

He gets even more nervous. He rubs his hands and breaths deep. I set my hand on his to try to make him calm down. It only does a little. "Umm... I have been thinking of our future" he pauses, "I have been wondering if you... if you still want me to go on a mission."

I sigh of relief. I am so glad that it was only a mission that was making him nervous. And it makes sense because he doesn't want us to break up.

"Of course I do! I know that you want to, and I know that you would love it! You need it, so go!" I said encouragingly.

He had a little sigh of relief. He still didn't look totally relaxed. I kissed his cheek and continued eating.

Matthew's POV

Great... Now I feel even worse. What now?
