Accidental Roommate

Part 1

Tee is a last year student in university and he is struggling hard to finish his study. He has no money, place to stay and a hard final semester for him to face. His life is bad and all his luck already leave his life.

"I have 1000 dollars left for the whole semester" Tee sighs pitying his life.

He only had that money left after paying for his fees, sadly he can't work part time anymore because he needs to focus on his study and project. If he takes part time work again, he might need to postpone his graduation.

"I should find a cheap place to stay, the dorm is too expensive for me" Tee listing his budget but everything get over what he had.

The whole semester takes six months. He can't survive that long with the money he has left.

"should I ask from my uncle?"

All Tee has right now is his uncle, he lost his parent when he is 14 years old, it's been 10 years but everyday without your loved one always hurt. Tee remembers both of them everyday.

"Tee!" a cheerful voice greets Tee at the table.

Tee ignores the voice because his best friend or maybe best to say, his only friend is too cheerful for him to handle. Tee always working and has no time to socialise like others. He is the normal nerd kid with glasses, not stylish and people don't want to be friend with him.

Tee is typical University boys that people don't care about, his presence and absence are the same. Gives no effect whatsoever to others.

"Dann, I have no time to talk to you, please go and disturb your other friends" Tee chase away his only friend.

Dann is a rich boy that receive allowance from his parent, he never understand how hard to earn every cent of money. All he do is spend money for his girlfriends. He is rich but kind of stupid too, even Tee can't believe that people like Dann can enter a university.

"Don't chase me away my friend. You know that the only honest and true friend I have is you!" Dann squeeze Tee's cheek. He loves cute things and for him Tee is really cute even though not stylish.

Dann is sure, if Tee put some more thought about his style, he will be a famous guy in the university.

Tee swats away Dann's hand and tidy his books, he is hungry at this moment and he only can feed himself the cheapest food in the canteen.

"Tee, you seem to have a problem. Talk to me" Dann is useless friend but he does concern about Tee. Well to talk much about Dann will take time, people will realise his identity all along.

"I have no money, place to stay and a final year. There, can you help me?" said Tee lazily, his only friend is nosy man.

Tee wants to leave but Dann holds his hand tight.

"I think I can help!" Dann suddenly become more cheerful now and Tee starts to worry.

"No, thank you!" Tee takes his hand away and ready to leave.

"I can give you a place to stay with cheap price! 400 for the whole semester!"

Tee stops on his track, 400 for six months?! That's cheap!

"Are you trying to lie to me?"

"No! Look, my brother has an apartment around the college, walking distance. But he is not here because he is overseas for the time being, the house is empty to use. I will ask him to let you use it first" Dann's suggestion is really good,  but Tee can't help to think Dann is playing games with him.

"I will bring you to look at the house" suggest Dann eager.

"okay. If you lie to me don't show your face in front of me anymore!" warns Tee, Dann nods his head agreeing with it.

"Let's go now!!" Dann pulls Tee's hand to go with him to his car. Dann has a nice car to drive around, that's why he has lots of girlfriends. He is a playboy.

They drive for three minutes, it is really close to the university, Dann get out first and Tee follows slowly. The apartment building is not as cheap as the price Dann offers. It is expensive!

"Dann, I don't think 400 will be enough" said Tee when they past the door of the main building, they even need a card to enter the building. It is expensive and exclusive.

"calm down Tee. Let's take a look first" Dann and Tee take an elevator to sixth floor.

Dann open one of the four doors on that floor and enter the apartment. It is spacious! But not in the best condition, it is messy.

Tee frowns hard because he is a neat freak and watching this mess makes he want to clean up everything! He even wants to clean the floor!

Dann grins like a kid.

"Tee, you can stay here with that amount but you need to tidy and keep the house clean. Can you do that much?" ask Dann with a grin, Tee wants to reject it but he has no other way to settle his problem. Maybe he can cooperate with it for a moment while he finding another place to stay.

"Fine. I will stay here."

"Yes!!!" Dann cheers happily. Tee just ignores and make a tour around the house.

It has three bedrooms with bathroom inside it. A kitchen and spacious living room. It is not big but spacious.

"These two rooms are my brother's and it always locked. You can use this one" Dann open a door showing a bedroom.

It has everything in there, Tee already likes the room because it is bigger than what he hope.

"Now, tell me Dann, what happened to your allowance that you need money from me?" Tee knows Dann for four years already, they have been friends that long.

Dann is a rich boy that get allowance from parent but his parent is strict with him, they only gave the same amount every months, if Dann has not enough money, it's Dann's problem.

"I promise to treat Lana this weekend, not enough money" Dann grins stupidly.

Tee shakes his head, Dann is really love to spend money for his girlfriend. He never feels the need to save money and always spend recklessly. If only Tee has parent like Dann, he might able to save more money and not living like this.

Tee agrees to stay there and pay Dann the amount he promised, he hopes with all the money he has left can make him survive the last semester and graduate.
