I'm actually enjoying this! :) So...anyone with a super embarrassing summer camp story that they're brave enough to share? Mehehe :)
Me first ... So... It was summer and my guy best friend, I and a bunch of our other friends decided to go on a " study tour" in a country I won't mention. But you see, my friend took it into his hands to help me meet new people and make new friends. But he can be such a retard sometimes! I told him that his roomie seemed nice and then he got this idea of introducing us.
" <insert roomie's name here>, this is Ash, she likes you."
Awkward...
The guy just stood there looking at me shyly. I tried to save the day. How?
Me: " It was nice to meet you! I have to go now, bye!"
I ran all the way to the sixth floor, my friends cracking up behind me. Great! Now, he thinks I really do have a crush on him. Which is why it was even more awkward when he saw me washing my underwear. I know! Embarrassing!!! It was my roommate's fault. She forgot I was in the bathroom and she let him use it. Imagine those few humiliating moments when he came in and I just stood there holding my underwear. And the first thing I thought of was...
"It's not mine!"
I couldn't look him in the eye ever! Curse you, verbal diarrhea!!!!
My friends still don't know about this...

Okay. Think fast, Dyl. This is Jake Forger, the guy who put sugar in your closet, but also the guy who took you night swimming. Ugh Brain, not helping. I can't go out on a date with Jake Forger. I fear that if I do, we can never be friends or rather, I can never see him as just a friend and all those feeling from all those years ago might come back again. I am over Jake and it has to stay that way. So how do I get out of this? Of course, my heart took a double take when he said he was going to take me out on a date but of course, it wouldn't mean anything because he doesn't have feelings for me. I should remind myself that Jake only proposed this crazy idea of his because that's just the way he is. He's one of those players who easily charms his girls. Well, this girl's not falling for that.
"I don't think that's such a good idea, Jake."
"Yeah, I agree."
As he said that, my spirits dropped a little. Why am I even feeling this way?
"At this point, you'll probably have to be the one to take me out on a date, seeing as I'm new here and everything. Besides, I think your first date should be with someone really special."
I nodded and laughed a little to decrease some of the awkwardness. "Oh turn left here."
We turned into The Streets. It's just a medley of cobblestone streets actually with pristine white buildings and ornate-looking lampposts. The streets were only big enough to be two-way streets and the sidewalks were lined with countless shops, each having a unique window display to attract customers. There were quite a number of shoppers roaming the sidewalks, flocking the shops especially since there was that month-end sale. The street we were in was the largest and the busiest since the dress shops and mainstream shops were found there, but I knew a better place to go.
"You know, it would be more fun to see the place on foot," I told him.
It took us half an hour to find a parking spot. Jake was surprisingly patient.
"This better be worth it," he said with a teasing smile.
"Oh, you'll see."
We got out of his pretty car and he started walking towards the other direction. I tugged at his arm.
