Day: 12 "Fire inside me. "

Faith:

Lately the only thing on my mind is the kiss that almost happened.

If it were someone else I would have ignored but it was RYKER!

As in Ryker Rivers.

Okay I need to stop saying that.

For a moment, I thought about telling Cassie but then if Ryker didn't do it then why should I?

But she is my best friend. She has a right to know. I stand up and head towards her room.

I knock on her door twice and she opens the door with a broad smile.

"Hey.. Cassie. I need to tell you something.. " I fiddle with my fingers.

"Right. Me too. " She let's me in.

"Really? You go first. " I sit on her bed.

"Well, I made the first move. " She tucks her hair behind her ear.

"What? " I ask confused.

"I told Ryker about the attraction. " She says making me sit up in shock.

"What?! "I exclaim.

"I knew you would be surprised. "She rolls her eyes. "Anyways, I told him That I thought I had started to get attracted to him and he was cool with it until and unless he said that I wanted to be more than friends which he wouldn't like. " She explains.

"Oh.. "I gently fake smile at her. "I'm happy for you. It's a good thing that you found someone you like.. "I say with a weird feeling in my chest.

"I know right. Thanks. " She hugs me and I hug her back.

"Well, I think I'm gonna go now. Bye! " I smile and walk out without saying anything else.

I sigh as I head back to my room. I lay on my bed and scroll through twitter when I see Ryker messaging me.

Ryker: We need to talk, again.

Faith: Yes. Yes we do. I'm coming to your house. I don't care what you say.

With that I walk outside of my room again, wear my shoes and walk to his house.

I ring his doorbell and wait for him to open the door.

He opens the door and lets me in. I follow him to his bedroom.

"Look, I had no intention whatsoever to do what I did yesterday, therefore we should just forget about it and move on. It was just for a moment. " I blurt out as soon we get to his room.

"Really? Well guess what. I had the intention to kiss you. "He says confidently making me stare at him with wide eyes.

"W-what? "I break out of my trance.

"Yes. I had the actual intention to kiss you. " He takes a step towards me making me take a step back.

"Yeah, but why? " He doesn't answer by keeps taking steps towards me and I keep taking step back until I feel my back hit the wall.

"R-Ryker.. "I say when he gets too close.

"Faith, you know what you are doing to me? " I shake my head.

"God Faith! You just light this fire inside of me that I can't seem to make it stop. You make me lose all of my self control and break all my walls I have kept up for so long. " He says making my heart stop.

If it weren't for the thing I actually wanted to say to him, I would have kissed him.

"R-Ryker-"

"Faith, tell me that proximity didn't make your heart beat twice as fast and you didn't want to kiss me. " He cuts me off.

I stare at his eyes searching for something such as regret but I only see desire and want.

Shoot. I got myself in trouble.

Because the thought of kissing Ryker also creates a fire inside of me.
