~•~LAMIA'S POV
Casual clothes?
Check.
A few Austen books?
Double check.
Penny the Bunny?
Hell yeah.
I sighed as I closed the zip of my travelling bag, if only I could bring my whole room. I mean, how could I even leave Adam Levine's poster all alone here? The man's too damn gorgeous! Looking at the wall clock above my bathroom door, I realized that I didn't catch a wink of sleep.
"Seven a.m. and I'm still here fussing over my things." I mumbled as I laid down my black and white bed. I'm gonna miss this place; the house, the nice mailman, and the serene woods outside. Sure, I don't like other people because I prefer quietness over noise, but reading too much books can get a bit boring if you're just stuck inside your room. I'm not saying that it's bad being alone, but this has been my life for seventeen years! I want to meet my own Mr. Darcy, hell, even meet a few Mr. Wickhams too. I want to go on adventures like Christine Daae and choose the Phantom instead of Raoul.
But I'm just Lamia Derano and I lead a simple life.
I smiled to myself as I looked at my room, as that one poster of Adam Levine looked at me with remorse.
"What? I'm sure you're having a blast there, with your luxurious life and your beautiful Behati." I said, as I sat up from my bed as I threw my gray pillow at him. "I'm leaving because I want to save my family, but when am I actually gonna do something for myself?"
"When we leave." I heard a voice reply as I jumped out of my bed, immediately forming an awkward karate stance. "Hey there Bruce Lee."
I huffed and rolled my eyes as Mikhail entered my room through the main entrance. He looked fresh out of the bath with his manly scent filling my senses and his bright gray eyes pierced through my dim room. He was wearing a red beanie, which covered most of his hair, along with his signature leather jacket with a black shirt inside. Mikhail held a black bag which was slung on his left shoulder
"You done ogling me? We have a plane to catch." Mikhail said as he sat down on my bed.
"What?!" I replied as I felt my heart stop. "I thought you'll just bring me to The Void!"
"I will, but I have to move you away from here first. You better say goodbye to your family. ASAP."
"But I still have to take a bath!"
"What, do you want me to strip you naked and bathe you myself?" Mikhail shot back with a smirk, making my cheeks heat up. I quickly ran to get my towel and a few warm clothes and then hurriedly went inside the bathroom.
After a few minutes, I went out. My hair was in a bun and I was wearing my worn-out white sweater and some warm brown jeggings. Outside, I realized that my suitcases were gone and so was Mikhail. I ran to my closet and got my scarf and gloves to keep myself warm. With one last look, I left my room with Adam in my mind. Downstairs, Damien and my dad were both eating breakfast with Mikhail. I smiled at them as I took a seat in between my brother and the stupid demon.
