(A/N: I seem to have gotten writer's block, because I seriously don't know how to write what I have in mind. Do you guys have this too when you try to write? Anyways, chapter 10!

More Mikhail. Mmmm. Mikhail.

And as always, I will see you in the next vid--

Uh.

Yeah, I seem to have taken quite a fancy on Markiplier again, one of his old videos actually gave me inspiration. *dreamy sigh*

LAMIA'S POV

I sat on my bed, unable to fall asleep. I've been staying here for a month now, but aside from the loud moans and groans coming from Mikhail's room, which was rather disturbing, the palace was peaceful. I stood up, walking towards the balcony, then gazed at the floating rocks outside which now look like lanterns sprawled across the night sky. A sigh escaped my lips. I still can't believe that Mikhail's the nice guy, I mean just listen to him do that girl-- well don't, that's disgusting. Twiddling my thumbs, I began thinking about my dad and Damien, the latter being the obviously reckless driver, I just hope they're both okay.

"Aaah Mikhail!"

I felt my eyebrows twitch as I slammed the balcony door close, then sat on one of the soft-looking chairs outside. Oddly enough, my watch started working again, which probably meant that the spell is broken-- and that Lucius is looking for me. I'm sure he knows where I am and who I'm with, but with the façade broken, will he still come here? A little flame in me wants to be saved, but nobody is willing to be burnt twice. This love is delusional and stupid, that much I know. I give up. Demons and angels seem hot at first because of Supernatural, but when you come face to face with them... You'll turn into an emotional train wreck like me. I blame Amali for all of this, if she just kept herself to Mikhail I'd be a happy ball of sunshine-- but no, she has to fall for Lucius. What's wrong with Mikhail anyways? He's attractive (ridiculously attractive, mind you), witty, sarcastic... But he's a player, not to mention that he's also kinda frightening. There's always a catch with these perfect men, ONE CATCH that shatters their whole image and we girls are stupid for even wanting them. Nobody's perfect, but it doesn't give Cupid the right to blindly shoot his arrows just as he pleases. I sighed.

"Lamia, stop sighing." The voice commanded as a knock echoed in my dead quiet chambers; it was Mikhail. "I'm coming in."

The massive door creaked opened, and was then shut closed along with the heavy thumping of Mikhail's footsteps.

Somehow, his presence was comforting even though he annoyed the hell out of me earlier. I felt him behind me, his hand on my hair. I shivered.

"Mikhail, I have to go back." Mikhail froze, as he quickly walked in front of me. He kneeled down, his bright gray eyes meeting mine.

"Lamia, you know I couldn't do that." I frowned at his response. "Lucius might forcefully take you, he might even kill your family."

"I thought you had the power to bring the heavens down!" I replied, my voice barely above a whisper.
