But since your mom doesn't know about it she accepts an invitation from Ethan's parents to go to their house and eat dinner. Genre: Awkward friends to lovers. Word count: 1,317 (probably less since I'm counting the A/N)
*No one's P.O.V*
"Y/N wake up!" Your mom said making you wake up from your midday nap that almost turned to a 14 hour nap. "Five more minutes please" you said sleepily. "No more minutes, we're going to arrive late to Ethan's house" this made you wake up immediately. You sat in your bed and rubbed. Your eyes quickly. "Ethan's house? Why would we go to Ethan's house?" "Didn't I tell you? The Hwang's invited us to their house to have dinner with then since they bought a new grill"
Great. There was no way that you could avoid going. Even if you wanted to, you were to scared to tell your mom no. And also, she wasn't asking if you wanted to go, she was telling you that you're going to go.

Not even an hour later you were eating at Ethan's house. It was weird at the beginning because you two couldn't even look at each other, eventually it was easier to ignore each other since you were eating at oposite directions of the table. But ignoring each other didn't last long since Ethan's father said: "Y/N, don't you like video games too? Ethan you should take her to your room to play something, just don't wake up Tyrus." "Okay" was the only thing Ethan said before looking at you. You understood that he wanted you to get up and follow him. And that's what you did.
Midway going to his room you stopped him to talk since you wanted to talk to him like a normal person without it being so awkward. "I-" "Listen-" You both talked at the same time which made it more awkward, thankfully Ethan let you talk first. "I was trying to say that maybe we should forget about what happened" You said trying to not make eye contact with him fearing that you'll blush. "That was what I was about to say" when he said that you both giggled a bit. Everything seemed like it used to be now.
Before you two could get into Ethan's room to finally play you heard a little voice: "E-Ethan?" It was Tyrus. "Tyrus you should be sleeping right now, go back to bed" Ethan said scared that his dad will get mad at him. "But you guys woke me up, And I want to play hide and seek!" He said getting exited. You two looked at each other with fear. But suddenly a great idea came to your mind. "If we play hide and seek with you, will you go back to sleep?" You said while getting a little closer to him "YEA" Tyrus answered almost screaming. "But you have to be quiet, alright?" Ethan said. "Otay! Only if I can be the seeker!" "Okay buddy"Ethan answered.
Right after Ethan answered, Tyrus started to count while closing his eyes. You panicked for a second, but when you looked at Ethan he mouthed ' Follow me'. And once again, that's what you did. He took you to a closet where they kept some toys and things they didn't use much. It was a bit dark, but you could clearly see Ethan's fluffy hair and his shiny eyes.
You found yourself lost in his eyes, they looked so deep and it almost seemed like they were talking to you. They asked you to come closer. You couldn't say no to those deer eyes. Almost without noticing it you were kissing him. This time it wasn't an accident. You finally could feel his soft lips against yours. They were warm and sweet. You couldn't get enough from them. But sadly you had to pull away since you were almost out of breath. He looked at you and smiled.
"Should we forget about this too?" You said making him laugh. "I'm not sure if I want to forget this one" he said making you blush. "Look, since what happened I can't stop thinking about you. Maybe we could go on a date to know each other better" You couldn't believe what he was saying. You never would have considered it if the accidental kiss didn't happen. "I would love that" you said while getting closer to kiss him again.
Sadly you weren't able to because Tyrus finally found you guys. And in the most inconvenient moment may I add.
"Mommy!!!" Tyrus screamed. You're both dead. "NOOOO TYRUS" Ethan screamed while running behind him.
After taking a deep breath you went back to Ethan's backyard where your parents were still eating and talking. When you arrived the first thing your heard was Ethan's mother saying: "Is that true? You and Y/N were kissing in the closet?"
You didn't even had time to process it. Luckily Ethan thinks fast. "No! Of course not! I thought Y/N had a bug on her nose and I wanted to make sure it was a bug before telling her. That's why I leaned in to take a better look". You facepalmed inside of you, but from outside you were smiling and nodding.
"But why is Tyrus awake?" Ethan's dad asked. "Because Eth-" "Is that an Ice-cream truck I hear? Y/N and i should go get some for you guys, we'll be right back" Ethan said and immediately grabbed you by your arm to take you out of there.
- When you guys were coming back from the grocery store with ice-cream (since the ice-cream truck thing was a lie) you asked Ethan. "Why did you lie? You know that if my mom finds out that we lied she's never going to let me go out with you, right?" "I didn't know your mom was strict actually. I just thought you wanted to keep it a secret". "I would like that, but if my mom will find out sooner or later and she always asks me to not fall in love with her friends sons because she thinks that will ruin her friendship. Weird, I know."
The rest of the way back you two laughed and laughed until your bellies started to hurt. Being with him felt right.
- When you finally arrived to Ethan's house he went straight to talk to your parents while holding hands with you. "Mom, dad, Y/N's mother and Tyrus. We have to tell you something" your eyes widened when you heard what he was saying. "We like each other. And yes, we were about to kiss for the second time in that closet-" "second?" "Please let me finish" Ethan said when your mother interrupted him. "We promise that our relationship won't affect your Friendship. And I promise that I won't break her heart. I want to take her on a date, maybe on Saturday? Is that okay Mrs Y/L/N?" "Awwww Ethan you're a really sweet kid. Of course you can" your mother said. Your jaw almost dropped at her words.
Everything was perfect for a second. Your life seemed to be perfect. And you were dating the most handsome guy you've ever met.
You couldn't ask for anything else
