Blazing heat beamed down from the sky, slowly becoming more and more intense as the afternoon carried on, further causing the three individuals to become even more restless as they heavily contemplated in the castle garden, faintly scenting the air with roses and tulips in contrast to the current atmosphere.
"What are we going to do?" Daisy murmured.
"Well, you could've done something," Elliot grumbled in reply. "You were right there."
"I wish I could've, but-
"Quit making up excuses Daisy. Quite frankly, whether you admit it or not, you could've helped Milly if you wanted to, but you didn't."
"I just told you, I wish I could've! Besides, you or Sean could've also done something."
"He was in the castle during the time and I was tending to the garden, both of us were being watched! So we couldn't have! You on the other hand, not only were you right there witnessing the tournament, but you also had the power to stop it! You're the king's royal advisor for heaven's sake! You're in a position of authority! So use it!"
"For your information Elliot, I actually don't want to abuse my position of authority! We already have a king who does that!"
"You're useless, no wonder Milly doesn't trust you."
Daisy shifted her gaze towards the ground, feeling guilty at the prospect.
"Don't be so harsh on her Elliot," Sean interjected, peeking behind the wall in case they were being watched. "You know she couldn't do anything or else her cover would've been blown. Then we would've lost another rebellion member."
Elliot let out an irritated sigh. "I suppose you have a point. I'm just worried about Milly."
"So, we need to come up with a plan to break them out of there." Sean seated himself beside the two of them. "Any ideas?"
"I'm trying to think of something right now," Daisy responded while deep in thought. "We don't have much time."
"What do you mean?" Elliot inquired, having a bad gut feeling about what her answer may be.
"I was with King Drew in the infirmary earlier, he plans to execute Milly at sunrise tomorrow morning-
"WHAT?!" Elliot screeched in surprise, with Sean motioning him to quiet down.
"You heard me right," Daisy continued. "This gives us fifteen hours to come up with a solid plan."
"That isn't enough time! None of us are as strong or experienced as the others in this sort of thing!" Elliot quavered in panic.
"Elliot, you need to calm yourself," Sean calmly assured. "Panicking will only slow us down."
"Sean, the three of us are all that's left, this is the perfect time to panic!"
"If you're so worried that we can't do this on our own, then what we need is help, or at least some insight on what to do."
"Where can we find help Sean? We are on our own!"
"Wait a second," Daisy interrupted, after a minute of thought, it finally clicked. "I have an idea."
"This better be good," Elliot replied, still distressed.
"There's this old lady at the edge of the kingdom's boundaries, she's an old family friend of mine, and I actually wouldn't be Rosemania's royal advisor today if it weren't for her help," she explained. "She'd probably know what to do."
Elliot raised an eyebrow in dissatisfaction. "Really?"
"Yes, really," Daisy replied, unimpressed. "And throughout all the years I've known her, she's never been wrong."
