MISMATCHED [T.H.]

Chapter 1

Aurora's POV:

"Aura, Aura, wake up.", Mom shouted.

"Mom 5 minutes", I groaned.

"No more 5 minutes. Don't you have to go to the exhibition?" She said.

"Oh yes" I shook and got out of my bed. I took shower and got ready. 

I went downstairs to the breakfast table. Dad was reading the newspaper and Mum in kitchen.

"So ready for today?" Dad asked.

"Yes Dad" I said

"I know what gonna happen that's why I made your favorite breakfast." Mum said.

"Oh I love this" I squealed.

"So if you won, we are having dinner together"Dad said.

"Promise"I said.

"Ok Mom-Dad, I am going, Emily is here." I stood and picked my phone.

"Bye and best of luck" They said and I bid goodbye.

"Hey goodie, ready to go?" Emily asked.

"Yes" I said. We drove to the exhibition hall. 

"We are here." Emily said.

"I am nervous" I said holding her hand.

"But I am excited" She said.

"But.." I still worried.

"Relax, take a deep breath and get your ass up." She said. We started giggling.

"Let's go" I said. We took our seats. After the function, it was the time.

"The winner of this exhibition is..... Aurora White for her book 'The journey of love'."

I jumped and walked on the stage. The chief handed me my award.

"Congratulations baby" Emily hugged me tightly.

"Thanks" I said still not believing it.

"So party time" Emily said as we sat in the car.

"Sorry but it is dinner with family time. I promised them that if I won, we will have dinner together." I said.

"Fine but after dinner?" She asked.

"Sure, but where?" I asked.

"Phonox but I will pick you up" She said.

"Ok" I said. She dropped me to my home.

"So here comes the winner." Dad jumped as I showed him the award.

"I knew it" Mum said.

"And seems dinner is ready" I said smelling the delicious air.

"Yes, my dinner is saying that it will allow us to eat them only when you come" Mum said with a pout.
