THE BURIAL of his late mother surely marked the end of his era, but it also signifies of his new beginning. Tjardo always thought of how his life would be in peace if he only knew his mother, he also felt guilty that the one who fully nurtures him wasn't the true one but on how she treat him like as if own child makes him think that she accepted him.

Siguro tadhana na talaga ang may gawa nito. Sa daan ng sakit niya lang malalaman kung sino talaga ang totoo niyang ina. Her two mothers already left his life and it hurts him to see that it's how carved his fate.

"You good, son?" Don worriedly asked him as he handed him a cup of black coffee. They're in the hospital for now, waiting for the test to be delivered.

Sa pagkakataon na ito ay gusto niya rin malaman kung magkadugo rin sila ng kanyang ama gayon malabo sabihin lalo na't napatunayan na anak siya ni Matilda. He guess the pain will take a long time to heal if his Dad weren't matched to him, probably he will leave the position of being the owner cause he doesn't deserve it to have it.

If it takes that way, that means he's no longer a Voltemaz. Surely, everyone in the business will felt ashamed to him that he's an illegitimate child. Which sucks!

Can this get any worse?

He blew out a loud a breath as he took the cup from his Dad. "I'm okay."

"Nice to know." sagot ng kanyang ama sabay hinagod ang balikat niya. Nginitian niya na lang ito sabay sinimsim ang ibinigay na kape.

The time felt slowing, he could only hear the ticking of the wall clock nearby. He just rested his back on the chair and trying to clear himself with his thought. Napansin niya rin nakatulog narin ang kanyang ama sa tabi.

Mariin ipinikit niya na lang ang mata at umaasa na sana positibo ang ginawang test. Don has been a great father to him even though sometimes, he's also getting to his nerve. Well, he can't do anything about it since his father is now getting old.

Umaasa parin siya na ama niya ito, ayaw niyang mawala ito sakanya lalo na't ito nalang ang pamilya niya. Pero magiging komplikado sa paraang iyon kapag positibo ang test.

That means, his father impregnate Matilda and...and...he had an affair with her and he is cheating to her wife. Maybe he's wrong but he's willing to hear his father perspective about that. Hindi na siya mapakali sa kinauupuan niya, sabik na sabik na siyang malaman ang resulta.

Matapos ang ilang sandali sa magdamag na pagkakaupo sa silya ay napansin niyang may papalapit na Doctor sa kanilang direksyon. Sa gawing iyon ay kaagad ginising niya ang kanyang ama na nakaidlip na sa pagod.

The Doctor came to them, he has this faint smile that never fades. Pamilyar ang lalaki sakanya, di niya lang alam kung saan niya ito nakita.

"Sorry if I was late, I guess you two have now the rights to know the result. I did my best to make it faster to guarantee my service, so i'm expecting that I will meet the fast pay, Tjardo." the Doctor just formally said as he handed to them the envelope containing the result.

Kaagad na itong umalis ng wala ng sabi sabi pa. Maybe that guy also know him and he's the one who already forgets that they acquainted. But it's weird that he really provides them the utmost quality of his service.

That means he's really special to him? He doesn't think so. Ibinalik niya muli ang tingin sa envelope dahilan para mabulabog ang kinakabahan niyang puso.

His father was also curious about the result and it nervous him that it might come out as negative that will surely dissapoints his Dad. He couldn't help himself, he's trying to act calm but he couldn't.
