CHAPTER 2
His hands began to shake while his mouth became incapable to speak, seeing the woman who broke him years ago is infront of him.
He tries to stare playfully in her eyes as if he was searching for something there. Then, he only found emptiness.
"Ari—" he was about to call her name when the woman instantly bowed and start apologizing.
"I'm sorry Sir, I didn't mind. I didn't mean it, I'm sorry." her voice was still the same, very soft to his ears. He also bring his idea that he will forever get used on hearing it.
Tjardo still hush, immobile and dumbfounded. No words wants to escaped from his mouth just to break his silence. As if he was stunned by something or there's a massive chain that temporary binded him.
To think of everything, Tjardo felt like it useless. The years he's trying to move on had just banished, seeing the only reason for that were real again on his eyes.
The fate really plays well, to let themselves cross their paths again. But seems something is wrong? He assume Aria, her ex already forgets her. The way it behaves it deemed like she ever haven't know him.
"I'm really Sir, hope you forgive me." anito ng dalaga ng biglang may tumawag sakanya.
The tiredness is evident on his father eyes. He isn't getting any younger, his father is now old to worked for. Though, his father remains his authoritative aura, still intimidating and looks powerful. As if, he still have a potential to run a business.
Tjardo let out a breath as he face the woman again. But now, she just banished like a thin air, the woman was already out of his sight and she even left a remaining document on the floor. It was her ID.
He gently took it on the floor as he instantly store it through his pocket.
"Son, ohh I thought it's your day off? Why were you here?" tanong ng kanyang ama at napakamot lang siya ng batok. Tinignan niya ang kanyang sekretarya na nakayuko sa ngayon.
"Nikita updates me that your overexerting the interview. It also passed afternoon and it seems like you haven't take any lunch? I'm just here to remind you."
"What time is it?" his father ask.
"Dad, it's almost 6 pm in the evening."
"Oh! Makakalimutin na talaga ako. Hindi ko na kasi maalala sa dami ng mga aplikante na naghihintay. Gusto ko rin naman silang pagbigyan." sagot nito at bumuntong-hininga muli siya. His father is now really old to be unmindful and irresistable.
"Dad, you don't need to work so hard for this. I worry about your conditions and it might get worsened if you still insist to it. Let me now do your job."
His father shook his head, still won't allowing him. He looks slight dissapointed but for now, he won't take that because his condition needs to be cared of.
"I can't son, even I am old enough to do my job I am still passionate to help you deal with it especially that your already running my business. I don't have anything to do in my spare time so I try my best to lend my hand for you." his father replied.
