" If things could get any worse"

Sophie POV

      " Neverseen," I muttered.

" Nice to see you again, moonlark," a figure purred.

A shiver went up my spine but I tried to show it. I knew the voice. The voice that betrayed the land long ago.

" Nice to see you as well, Lady Gisella," I mumbled.

" Well, well, well if it isn't my two beloved siblings," a cloaked figure said.

Fitz stepped up to the figure and Biana was behind him, " Alvar."

Lady Gisella and Alvar threw back their hoods and smirked. I took a glance at the Black Swan members, all ready for battle. I blew out a sigh as I made contact with Marella. I nodded.

Marella raised her hands and walls of fire separated us from the Neverseen.

      " Now," I commanded.

As soon as the wall of fire disappeared, Black Swan members used their abilities and combat skills to fight of the Neverseen.

" Dex, Macura, I need your help," I yelled.

Both members ran towards me while I help Biana and Fitz put on their hoods.

" Sophie, what's going on?" Fitz asked but I just shook my head, it was just not the time to talk about it.

Something caught my eye. Two Neverseen members.

      " Dex!" I yelled.

He nodded and threw gadgets at them, causing the Neverseen members to tumble backwards.

Macura noticed and needed no instruction. She stood infront of Dex, me and the Vackers and rose her hands. A bright yellow forcefield appeared. I looked at Macura and she nodded. As the forcefield lowered itself. I levitated in the air and a bright pink beam erupted from my forehead, hitting the two Neverseen members, knocking them unconcious.

" Come on!" I urged the Vackers and we took off.

We ran through the woods. I checked the surroundings for any cloak figures but none. Suspicious, yes but I couldn't care less. I looked at the Vackers. As a Black Swan member, we would train during the summer evenings so running was not a problem for us, we had pretty good stamina for running long distances. However, the Vackers seem out of breath.

" We have to keep going," I urged them and they tried.

After a long run, we finally reached the Vackers' palace. Okay, too be honest, I have to say it looked dazzling but I didn't need to be bothered by that right then.

" We should get in," Dex said.

I agreed, but how? There were guards guarding the entrance.

" Looks like you need a bit of help," a voice said, though it was easily recognisable.

    " Jeff!" Macura smiled.

I could've swore he would have blushed at that moment if we weren't it danger but right now none of us seemed to care.

" There's servants back entrance. You can enter from there. Turn right and walked forward and then make a sharp left on the next corner. Now, go! The Neverseen members are heading here soon. We only manage to spare a few minutes," Jeff hurried.

    I nodded, " Thanks, Jeff."

Then, we hurried into the castle as we left Jeff there battling with the Neverseen with the other Black Swan members...

Author's Note: Hmmm, am I a bit mean that I actually didn't continue the story? Hmm, maybe I will make the next chapter a little longer. Welp, we'll see. See you in my next update! Love you! Stay safe! ;)
