" Would this really end here?"

Sophie POV

       " Sophie, watch out!" someone knocked me over before a hooded figure could hit me.

        I shook my head and looked up, to meet a pair of teal eyes, " Thanks, Fitz."

        " No problem," he helped me up and our friends crowded around us, ready for another attack.

         " Get back," Wylie ordered and in his hands was an orb.

         " Like we listen to you," a hooded figure hissed and pushed Wylie back.

         " Wylie!" Linh exclaimed and used water from a fountain to catch him like a hand.

          As the water laid Wylie down, Linh and Macura rushed to his side. I looked at them with anger, " Seriously! What have we ever done to you!"

         " Listen moonlark," Lady Gisella said as she pushed through the hooded figures, " we can do this the easy way or the hard way. You and your friends surrender and you and my son hand yourselves over. Everyone shall be spared. All you need to do is say two words, ' We surrender'."

         " And if I don't?" I challenged.

         Lady Gisella clicked her tongue and warned, " Don't try to get on my nerves. Trust me, one way or another the neverseen will win. You and my son shall come with us and all your loved one will have an amazing death."

         " Don't you dare lay a hand on my daughter!" Grady yelled and held his sword in his hand.

         " Glad you could come and enjoy the fight, my friend," a voice said. Alden.

        Lady Gisella growled and snapped her fingers causing more hooded figure, orges and dwarves to appear.

        Alden and Grady were back to back with their soldiers facing off the enemies. 

        I bit my lip and looked at my surroundings. There was almost no escape. I was too tired to inflict too. We were doomed eventually. No! There must be a way! I looked at flower vase. Bingo.

        " Whatever you are planning would not work," Lady Gisella said when I lifted the vase.

        " Here goes nothing," I muttered. 

        Wasting no time, I used all the mental energy and hit Lady Gisella with it. It didn't work as well as I wanted it to but it was good enough to get everyone distracted. Marella and Dex got their cue and Dex threw his gadgets. As soon as the hooded figures got hit back. Marella raised her hands. Fire surrounded each one of them but then I realised the fire was different. It was dancing agressively.

         " Marella..." I wanted to say but Marella herself was bewildered, " We'll settle it later."

         Keefe and Biana worked together. Biana appeared and disappeared and got the enemies confused and Keefe worked up from behind and hit them with a medler. Macura and Stina kept watch of Wylie. The Song twins snuck up on anyone ( of course the enemy not just anyone ) and blasted them with water. I was with Marella near to Fitz and Dex. I tried to hit them with goblin throwing stars but they were too quick. Out of the blue, the Neverseen retreated. I found it strange when someone called me.

        " Sophie!" Dex rushed, " the Neverseen! They got Fitz."
