" It is the only way to stop them"

Sophie POV

      As we reached the inside of the castle, I left put a relief sigh.

       " Call your Dad, Fitz," I said and continued, " Macura get ready a big enough forcefield to contain the whole castle just in case the Neverseen make it through."

        Macura nodded and Fitz dashed off to find his parents.

        Biana lead us to the living room and we sat down. Dex took the seat next to me, holding my hand, confronting me. Biana stared at us but I ignored. So many things were rushing through my head right now.

         " So you are the moonlark," an accented voice called out.

         I stood up and turned to face King Alden. I tried to curtsy but I fumbled.

         " Your majesty, I am Sophie Foster slash Ruwen, daughter of King Ruwen and Queen Ruwen. I am also what you already know the moonlark," I greeted.

         " Now, no need for the formal introductions. So, what brings you here to my castle? As you know right now, you have crossed the river which you were not suppose to," King Alden warned.

         " Your majesty, I don't know if you heard, that the Neverseen has returned," I explained.

         " Ah, the evil organisation that the Black Swan is against, I remember now. And if they return, couldn't your organisation defeat them?" asked King Alden.

         " Unfortunately your majesty, the Black Swan does not have enough members to defeat them. According to the gnomes, they have more members than ever. It is why I have come to offer you a suggestion, to work with my father King Ruwen," I said.

          King Alden's expression soften at the thought of seeing Grady again but it was only for a second, " Grady and I have been friends but are you sure this is not a trick?"

          " Dad, of course, it isn't. The Black Swan just saved us from the Neverseen that follow us," Fitz backed me up and I smiled at him.

          King Alden though for a moment, " This treaty would end the Neverseen but what supposedly do you want for me?"

           " Well, we need your best swordsman. Your army to battle along side the Black Swan. I, personally, would be in the battle. I shall lead it as the moonlark. You kings shall not need to step in. As long as I have your word that you allow me to be in control of your army. Of course, they would take orders from you before me," I replied.

           " Seems likely though I personally would want to join the battle, it would be thrilling," King Alden said as he tapped his chin.

           " But your majesty, what if something happens to you-" I was cut off.

           " There is no reason to worry," the King said but I could tell from the looks of Biana and Fitz that they did not like the answer.

           " Of course, your majesty," I said as I fumbled for a curtsy.
