For some reason, walking into Terminus scared me. I'd never really been here before, but I heard rumors that cannibals work here, in the shadows, ready to ambush you at every waking moment. I'm defiantly not sleeping here for the night. I almost turned back when I heard a deep voice that could make your skin crawl.
"Hey!" The voice echoed. I spun around and it was a man in a white lab coat, stained with blood. I eyed him carefully and he just stared. He cleared his throat. "Welcome to Terminus. Are you hungry?" I got a bad feeling in my stomach. Or maybe it was just biting hunger. How could I trust his food not being poisoned?
His brow furrowed. "Well?" I gave a stiff nod and he turned, grabbing a plate from the steel table behind him as if he had done this a thousand times. I remained silent, staring at the plate. A filet of messy meat filled it. I scowled and looked eye level at his face.
"I'm vegetarian," I growled. He coughed awkwardly and pushed his glasses. He gave a small wave of his hand and someone rammed me in the back. I fell square on my knees, shouting in anger.
I jerked around and kneed the guy in the jaw. He uttered a curse, cradling it. I dashed for the entrance out on the tracks when I suddenly get shot in the back. I was still running but I wasn't. I finally collapsed in my own blood.
~~~
My eyes fluttered open. I moved my hands and tried to stand but almost fell in a mess of more gore and guts in front of me.
I squeaked, feeling someone grab me by the nape of my neck from behind. I hissed and screamed until they put me down.
"Feisty bitch!" One man growled. I looked up and saw the man that offered me the meat, standing, looking down at me. A wicked grin crossed his face.
"Vegetarian, eh?" He purred. I growled, snapping at him. "People like you don't last. And that is why we are going to eat you.." He glared at me, touching my jawline. I bit down on his finger. Hard. I almost ripped off the damn thing before the next thing I knew, one of his "pets" kicked me in the skull.
I yelped, wincing, falling on my side. "Tch!" Meat Man held up his hand, signaling them to stop. They immediately obeyed and backed away from my trembling body. The man walked over, grabbing me by the hair and dragging me back over to the bloody tin.
He walked around in front of me, pondering, looking me over. He slowly grinned, pulling his long dagger. My eyes instantly fell on it and he walked back to me. I yelped when he touched the bullet wound on my back.
"Any last words? You do understand this isn't personal. Just business," He growled lowly. I flinched, my hands naturally touching the switchblade in my back pouch. I whipped it open, stabbing him in the gut and cutting my ropes. I leaped over the can and landed on my knees, laughing weakly. I immediately took guard of my surroundings and stood shakily, slashing one of the pets across the face, and kicked the other in the throat.
Once they both fell, my eyes landed back on Meat Man, who had a nine millimeter trained on me. This didn't worry me too much, to the fact that I had a bullet proof vest under my shirt. "I'm not an idiot." I grinned, pulling my four-foot long blade.
(Sorry to end it here, I didn't want to get mobbed or killed. Sorry I haven't been writing much!)
