"Hey Renjun, Mr. Na requested for 2 new assistants. Just hand them over everything and come with me later for real work" said Renjun's co-worker

YangYang who's beside Renjun that time heard everything and was more shocked than Renjun himself

"Holy shit!" YanYang uttered

Renjun didn't say anything and stood up from his seat

"Dude what just happened?" YangYang asked

Renjun still doesn't answer and started walking to Jaemin's office direction as YangYang followed him behind.

"I knew it. I knew there was some problem. Did you do something bad to anyone around him?" YangYang asked

"What? I didn't" Renjun replied

"Oww okay then, I have no interest" said Yangyang and stopped following him

Renjun arrived at Jaemin's office and saw him checking the plans on his tables.

Renjun walked closer to him and then Jaemin looked at him and smiled widely.

"Oh hi Renjun good morning!" Jaemin greeted

"I was just going to come to you"

Renjun furrowed his brows and was confused

Jaemin continued "I wanted to say thank you for all your hard work" 

Renjun didn't say anything and just looked at Jaemin

Jaemin then sighed

"You're right I had gone mad. I'm sorry. Please forget what happened to us" he then smiled

"Let's just be friends. Will you be my friend?" he asked and stretched his hands to Renjun

Renjun's speechless and just stared at Jaemin really confused on why Jaemin's acting like everything's ok that fast.

When Renjun was not accepting Jaemin's hand for a handshake he then put it down and still smiled.

"Don't worry I had praised you in front of Mr. Suh, it was the best way to say thank you to you. Thanks" said Jaemin and then went back to what he was doing a while ago.

Everything had changed in one moment, and all of that is because of one thing Renjun hated the most....

And yes starting that day, Jaemin and Renjun worked with different teams.

Renjun started to report to a new Project Manager

And Jaemin had 2 new assistants.

They still see each other at the office of course but only as a co-worker now.

Jaemin always shows him his smiling face. But when Renjun's not looking at him anymore the expression of his face immediately switches to a sad one.

Well, Renjun can't see Jaemin always stealing glances at him at times with a hurt expression.

Renjun's too focused on his work and decided to not mind Jaemin anymore and believes there was nothing left there to say between them.

"I had thought a lot Jeno. I think we should go our separate ways"

"Please don't say that Jaemin"

"You don't know what has happened to me"

"And I don't even want to know. We are here together again, that's all I-"

"Jeno, you are not understanding"

Jeno held Jaemin's hands and place his other hand on his cheek and caresses it softly "I want to give this relationship one more chance and I am willing to do anything for that. I just need your support"
