As I'm in my office, I'm making the last changes to the flyers that I will be giving to the Mayor, and I also made sure I had one of my translators ready to make sure I was spelling things the right way.
"Yeah, that's right. If you need me to, I can just drop these off you know. It would make it easier on you, and you could keep an eye on your people right?" Chi, my translator reviewed them before hitting the printing button.
" Yeah, but. . .I've always wanted to explore the streets of Japan. . . you know." I looked down at the floor.
""I feel you, maybe you can do that tonight when everyone else is sleeping." Chi pointed out.
"No, sometimes I have people coming in when I'm up late at night, asking me questions, needing me to fix things, you know." I felt the guilt rising up into my throat, and I was just about ready to throw up.
"You already do too much around here, you need to take a little break. Whether it be thirty minutes or whether it be the entire night." Chi, grabbed the huge stack of freshly printed flyers and started to head out.
"Well, what am I supposed to say? 'Hey, I'm not going to be around for a couple of hours. Make sure nothing goes wrong.' Like dude, that's not going to help!" I called out to him as he walked away and made his way back through the clearing and into the woods.
"Damnit." I banged on the desk before turning off my lights and heading of my tent.
"You know what, fine. I'll take a break. But not in the way he thinks I'll take it." I triumphantly said, I wasn't going to have his bullshit.
I walked along down the path and made my way to the tent filled with the pets. I scanned the roped off spots to where each and every animal had their own spot to sleep and eat. We already have a group of people who would come in everyday to feed them and see them, but they never touched my pets, they only fed them.
I allowed Jackie and Teo and Jaguar out of their spots and allowed them to explore the grounds before leading them to my tent.
I went back to my tent, with my pets following right behind me. I fed Jackie and Jaguar first and then Teo second, and then I cuddled with all of them on my bed for about and hour.
"Abbey?" I heard a voice come from outside my tent.
"Please, not right now." I said groggily, I raised my head and checked to see who it was.
Just Chi.
"Fine, Chi what do you want?" I groaned, rubbing the sleep from eyes.
"I delivered them, now what?" He asked from the other side of the flap.
"Do whatever, I'm taking a break."
"You realize you've been there sleeping for about three hours, right?" He retorted.
"No." I shoved him aside and lead my pets back to their tent and left. Going back to the Ring.
Seeing them practice what they would be doing for the show was nice, especially when they all get along. "Hey, guys. I'm here." I said, making way down to the Ring.
"Hey, so we've got what we're going to do." Bugs said happily.
"Ooh, can I see?" I rub my hands together excitedly.
"Sure thing, and if you need to. You can tweak it." Jameston said.
I sat down and grabbed my nearby whip, and smacked it against the ground which made a loud snap.
