Izuku sat on a fountain and hummed as Todoroki walked off. Once he had disappeared out of sight, all humming ceased and Izuku's eyes narrowed.
"Shigaraki."
Shigeraki slunk over from where he had been standing in front of a store. He had a deep red hoodie on, hands in pockets with his shaggy hair almost fully covering his eyes. "Bunny."
"What do you want?" Izuku kept his face carefully neutral though he couldn't stop his eyes from dulling and the wince that followed as Shigaraki slid next to him, wrapping a hand around his throat.
"I want to talk."
Izuku got pulled along to a small table in the food court. No one noticed the two boys, too wrapped up in their own lives. Tears were threatening to spill, and Izuku's breathe was starting to fail him as he shoved down a threatening panic attack.
"Now what?" He forced out, almost choking on the words.
"I want to know about Stain."
Izuku slumped over in relief. They didn't know about Eri. "Yes sir."

Izuku had been in the middle of explaining Stain's attack patterns when Todoroki appeared in front of them, so silently they didn't notice him until he cleared his throat.
"New friend, Izuku?" Todoroki spat through gritted teeth.
Izuku smiled sheepishly. "Uh-,"
"Don't even try," Todoroki cut off with a glare.
Shigaraki looked between the two nonchalantly before making a silent decision and standing. "Don't worry. I'll be taking my leave now anyways."
No one could argue before Shigaraki had slunk off, already gone in the blink of an eye.
Izuku gulped before turning to Todoroki who was radiating anger. "I can explain-,"

The police shut down the mall for the rest of the day and when Izuku was done being questioned, he had to deal with another Aizawa lecture on the way home. It was starting to get ridiculous with how many lectures he was getting. At this point he could tell someone the patterns in the lectures.
Eri was waiting outside, per usual, and ran into Izuku's arms when he stepped out of the car.
"Hey sweetie," Izuku muttered, kissing her head.
Aizawa stormed inside, probably still angry with Izuku's 'inability' to answer questions.
It took a few days for Todoroki to stop sending him glares and for Aizawa to stop sighing whenever he walked into a room.
The next morning as everyone tiredly headed downstairs from Mic's routinely radio blasting, only to walk right into Mirio and Aizawa talking. Mirio turned and gave them all a gigantic smile as they stared in confusion.
Izuku came in right at that moment looking around for Eri before glaring up at Aizawa, completely missing Mirio. "And where is she?!"
"It's a school day," Aizawa sighed. "She started preschool today, remember?"
Izuku grumbled something inaudible as he plopped down before noticing Mirio. "Oh. Hi."
Mirio laughed. "Hi Izuku. How have you been settling in?"
"Fine, I suppose."
"If only he would stop getting in so much trouble," Shinso muttered, earning a swat from Izuku.
