Today was the day Izuku would be meeting Nighteye. Actually a day hadn't even passed yet, it was just freshly night, the sun having just disappeared.

Kirishima, Tsuyu and Uraraka had surprisingly gotten job offers too. Uraraka and Tsuyu going with someone named Ryukyu, Kirishima going with Fatgum, both big time agency's. Their guns specialized in some pretty special effects. Todoroki, Katsuki and Shinso had been furious (well, Shinso just more quietly disappointed) when they hadn't been able to find an agency to take them on in time.

Mirio led the way to Nighteyes office. Izuku wasn't nervous, determination instead taking over. He would get accepted. He would rescue Eri. No one would get in his way.

Mirio didn't knock before opening the door, leading to a very... interesting... scene. An African American girl was strapped to a strange device while being... tickled? Izuku could only look on in a disgusted confusion.

"Sir!" Mirio interrupted with a laugh.

It wasn't forced either and that scared Izuku even more.

"I've brought Izuku Midoriya!"

Nighteye paused long enough for the bubbly girl to unstrap herself and jump behind Mirio with a giggle.

"Too serious," Mirio whispered to Izuku with a wink.

Izuku had no clue what the fuck that was supposed to mean.

"Alright, you two," Nighteye gestured to the door. "Out. I need to have a talk with Midoriya here." Nighteye waited until they left to turn to Izuku. "Please, have a seat."

Izuku did as asked though he felt uncomfortable without Mirio's presence next to him with only the mans gaze on him, studying every inch. Not necessarily in a bad way, just a studying gaze.

"Are you done?" Izuku testily asked. He wasn't in the mood for this patience bullshit, he needed to know the plan and he needed to know it now.

"Yes I'm done." Nighteye straightened, his face carefully clear. "So, why exactly should I take you on?"

"Because I'm the best chance you've got," Izuku explained immediately. "I've been living with these people," he spat the last word out with mockery, "all my life. I know them better then anyone and this is my sister we're talking about. I'm going either way, Mirio just said this was the more efficient and less trouble causing way."

"Do keep in mind, we could always just get the information from you without you being on this agency. It's much less risky that way, too," Nighteye mused.

Izuku shrugged. "What'd actually happen is you'd have to pry the information from the cold, dead hands. That shit is personal, I'm not sharing without a damn good reason."

"Is saving a innocent little girl not a 'damn good reason?'," Nighteye mocked.

"That innocent little girl is my sister," Izuku hissed. "Don't get me wrong, she's a very damn good reason, but I'm also getting her back either way, with or without you all. So why should I share information when you guys going in without any inside intel would provide the perfect distraction for me to save her myself?"

"You? You wouldn't stand a chance," Nighteye scoffed.

Izuku scowled. He didn't like this man, hadn't he ever learned not to underestimate people? "Stand up then," Izuku spat, doing the same himself. "Why don't we test that out?"

Nighteye narrowed his eyes and stood. "Very well." He held up a small stamping device, "If you can get this from me and stamp those papers on my desk yourself, you may join. If not," he paused for effect, "Then good luck. You have five minutes."
