[ Quick side note on their ages in case anything was unclear (can you tell how nervous I am about making things clear?) - Philza = 24 / Technoblade and Wilbur = 19 / Tubbo = 9 / Tommy = 8 - Also, none of this will be prof-read, which sucks for my dyslexic ass but hey I don't know anyone who would read my sucky stories lol. If you find any mistakes in spelling, grammar, or something that doesn't make sense please tell me! It would help me a ton! Now, onto the story. ]
Tommy sat up in his bed, hearing the familiar sounds of the father and his two older brothers preparing to leave. Getting out of bed, he looked over to the other bed and noticed that Tubbo was still asleep. Tommy gave a small smile and turned to the door that lead out of the two youngest children's bedroom. Tommy opened the door and peeked down the hall towards the front door and confirmed that his other three family members were getting ready to leave. Tommy ran down the hall with a goofy grin on his face, "Where are you going this time? And can I finally join you guys!" Wilbur sighed and said, "Where we're going is none of your business and no you can't." "Maybe next time squirt," Techno said, ruffling the youngest's hair before joining Wilbur outside. "When can I go?" Tommy said, looking to his father for answers that he knew he'd never get. "When your older, okay?" Phil said, about to leave when he heard Tommy say, "Really?! That old line? Can't think of anything better? If I never get to go, just say so!" Phil frowned and glanced at his other children, who were currently arguing, before saying, "You will get to go on an adventure with us, when you turn 18 at the latest. Maybe earlier, okay?" Tommy sighed but nodded, accepting defeat (especially since Phil was using a baby voice Tommy hated to hear from anyone) and watching his family leave again. "Toms?" Tommy turned around and saw his brother, who looked concerned for his brother. "I'm fine, alright." Tubbo sighed and grabbed Tommy's hand, "Lets grab something to eat then head out." Tubbo could feel how disappointed his brother felt, which slowly changed to happiness when he responded, "Can we go to the park? Just for a bit?" Tubbo smiled and nodded, leading the younger towards the kitchen and to the pantry.
The two were having a competition to who could swing the highest and 'reach the moon' (or whoever lasted the longest). Tubbo let out a small yelp as his grip loosened and he fell, back first, onto the wood chips below the two. "I win!" Tommy said, allowing himself to fall off and hit the ground with a thud. "No fair! You had the good swing!" Tubbo complained, standing up to get all the wood chips of himself. "Get to the swings faster then maybe you can have it." Tommy said, doing the same to himself and continued talking, "And anyways, I'm kinda board here. Lets go to the forest!" Tubbo smiled and grabbed his brothers hand, feeling happiness only made him smile wider and agree to the idea. "How far in should we go this time?" Tubbo asked, turning to his younger brother knowing the boy loved being in control of any activity they did. "Hmmm..." Tommy thought for a moment, not wanting the two to get lost but also wanting to farther into the woods then allowed by Phil to prove him wrong. "How about we just start walking in a straight line, when we feel tired we can head back. Okay?" Tubbo nodded and walked with his brother, who complained about their family like always.
"Sometimes I feel like they don't care about us, y'know? Were thrown to the side when they go out, left to fend for ourselves and learning how to survive." Tommy said, they were walking back after about an hour of just walking and talking. That's when Tommy saw it, a vision that he looked over and Tubbo was shot in the back of the head with an arrow. "Tommy?" Tubbo questioned, only hearing Tommy say, "Duck!" Both did as said, an arrow hitting the tree in front of where Tubbo once stood. "Run!" They both said, running as fast as their young feet would allow them to. They didn't have weapons, fighting skills, and no one to protect the two. More arrows hit nearby objects, one going into Tommy's arm and one just barely missing Tubbo's leg. It was a nightmare for the two as they stayed by each other the best they could. When they came running out of the trees, they kept running until they got home, weird looks coming from nearby adults still out at this time. "Where did the time go? We were only there for an hour!" Tubbo said, shutting the door and locking it. "Wasn't it, like, 12 when we left? How did 6 hours pass?!" They both looked at each other before Tubbo went to grab a first aid kit to take care of the wounds they had. "We have to tell Wilbur, he'll know what to do." Tubbo started, Tommy was always better at patching wounds but he couldn't take care his own injury. "Tubbo, your going to have to pull out the arrow, okay? Then wrap my arm around like you've seen me do a hundred times." Tubbo shook his head, "It will hurt you! I don't want to be the reason your in pain..." Tommy sighed, he loved his brother, but sometimes he couldn't deal with him. "Unless you want me to die a slow death, pull the arrow out and wrap the wound." Tubbo sighed and grabbed onto the arrow and pulled slowly. Tommy tried to suppress a scream, men don't scream just because their in pain and hes a man. Tubbo set the arrow down, blood dripping down onto the floor that neither seemed to notice as he went to wrap the wound. "Go around 5 or 6 times tight but not too tight and it should be good." Tubbo nodded, even if Tommy couldn't see him do it, and began wrapping it. "How long will the others be gone for?" Tommy asked, looking to his brother who only said, "Well normally there back a week later, at the least 5 days and at the most 9 days. I don't think the wound will be healed by then." Tommy cursed, he loved and hated how smart his friend could be. "Well were screwed. What even attacked us?" Both were silent as they tried to remember the looks of a person, who seemingly disappeared from their memories. "I... Don't think I saw him... Did you?" Tubbo looked over at Tommy, who seemed lost in though trying to remember anything about the person that attacked them. "I don't. It's like only that bit of memory was wiped..." Tommy said, muttering the last part to himself as he turned to his brother, "Lets make sure everything is locked, okay? Then we can grab a snack for dinner and sleep." Tubbo nodded, "Alright! Maybe we'll remember in the morning. For now, to hide the bandages..." Tubbo thought, what could they use? Neither owned long sleeved shirts made to be worn during the hot, summer months. The two choose to lock the house up for the night instead, they'd cross that explanation when they got to it.
Tubbo set the first aid kit back in its place, turning to go back into the kitchen with Tommy when he heard the front door creek open. He could see Tommy run towards the older as silently and quickly as he could. "Hello...?" A voice called out. Tubbo covered Tommy's mouth and slowly moved to a hiding place he remember their dad showing them. The two walked down the long hall in complete silence, hearing another voice and slow footsteps. When they stopped, they stood outside Techno's room, the one full of weapons neither knew how to use. "Here," Tubbo whispered, handing Tommy Techno's training sword, one made out of stone and wood that was just barely holding together. Tubbo pulled out a bow and a few flimsy arrows that clearly were used too much and weren't meant to kill someone. "I think their down here." Both the children got scared, Tommy grabbing one of Techno's black pillows and pushing it to Tubbo, "Here. Hide under the bed and use that to hide your face. I'll be in the closet, okay?" The hushed voice sounded demanding, scared, and Tubbo had to comply as he had no better options. The two wished Techno had some god damn windows in his room at this moment. Tommy ran to the closet, watching as black pillow kept the older hidden. He smiled, hearing the footsteps go into Wilbur's room, the one across from their current location, made his blood run cold. Rushing into the closet, he closed the door, having no light he stood up (totally not hitting his foot or hand on anything once or twice) on a box that should conceal his feet and tried to use one of Techno's long gowns to cover the rest of his body. That's when they heard the door open, fear filling the both of them as they stopped breathing. "Hey... We don't want to hurt you, just apologize and take you back with us." The voice was trying to be soothing, only scaring the two and making them wish for no one to find them. "Check under the bed, I got the closet." Two pairs of feet walked in opposite directions. The two youngest hoping the other wouldn't be caught.
How was the first chapter? It's about 1000 words or more so I'm pretty proud! Don't expect frequent chapters as I write these at night whenever I have my laptop with me, so not a lot.
Anyways, hope you enjoyed! If you have any feedback, feel free to let me know! :D
