The rest of the day was filled with fun.

They had breakfast at a small but cozy food stall, where they ate as fast as possible so they could have more time exploring the area.

They ventured around the markets and bought themselves a matching set of Hawaiian shirts in preparation for the beach. Way chose the dark blue one and Kim the red. At the same shop, they tried on a whole bunch of ridiculous outfits, questionable sunglasses and hats, and then their usual antics came about.

"Loser has to wear the outfit the winner chooses."

"Sure!"

They bet on who could bargain with the shop owner for the cheapest price on their Hawaiian shirts. Kim used every tactic he knew, but in front of Way, who used his charm and blunt sweet words to win over the shop owner, Kim's method proved to be less effective.

Way chose the most over-the-top outfit he could find, which was strikingly and unnecessarily colorful, guaranteed to get the attention of anyone walking by.

Kim stared at the outfit in his hands,

"...Are you serious?" Kim manages to ask.

"Hey! No going back on your word." Way insists.

"Besides, I'm sure it'll look good on you. I mean, I was the one who chose it." Way adds, lifting his chin up in an exaggerated motion and smiling proudly.

"Why don't you wear the same thing as me, then?" Kim is unconvinced.

"Because I want to let you stand out. I already get too much attention with my good looks."

Kim raises an eyebrow at Way. And they both start laughing, finding it hard to believe that they were being this childish.

Equipped and outfits put on, they then made their way to the local beach. It was a nice change of scenery, clear blue skies and water, light beige sand at the coast that seemed to glitter at some angles.

Kim makes the first move and he pushes Way into the water, laughing at him and pleased at himself for getting a little bit of payback for the outfit.

Way turns around and he thinks this is the happiest he has ever seen Kim since they met. But that didn't mean he was going to let the other off.

And so started their chase. Kim kept teasing Way, until the other finally caught up and threw him into the water as well.

They swam and played like crazy, like there was no tomorrow.

Using up every last inch of energy they had, they finally flopped onto the soft sand after a few hours. They lied down on the sand, simply and silently watching the sun go down, letting themselves be in the moment.

That evening, they had a barbecue dinner of fresh seafood.

Honestly, the times they were together were always fun. But today, they were away from everything else in the world. They felt free from worries and pressure. And they had each other.

Way doesn't remember the last time he had this much fun, or if he's ever had this much fun in his entire life. They don't know how they made it this far and how they had managed to live life without the other for so long.

If you were to set them apart now, they really wouldn't know what to do.
