Lauren

Camila released a low moan into my ear as I sucked on her neck and pulled her closer to me, my hands palming her perfect ass. She tugged at my hair and nibbled on my ear, and I was so ready to get completely lost in her.

Then, of course, there was a knock at the door.

Luckily, we were expecting it. Camila sighed as I buried my head into her neck, letting my hands fall to her thighs. She pulled away from me, still straddling me with her arms wrapped around my neck, sporting a defeated smile.

"You sure we can't make him wait a few minutes?" I rasped, stroking her legs.

"It's probably not super safe to have him stand out there in the open." she replied.

"Yeah, I know.", I huffed, "Alright. Let the games begin."

"Be nice." Camila giggled.

I rolled my eyes while my girlfriend got off of my lap and made her way towards my apartment door. Who was the lucky visitor who got a chance to see Camila and I actually spending time together in our 'secret' location? None other than Shawn Mendes, Camila's future..."boyfriend".

I chuckled to myself as the thought ran through my mind. I couldn't believe that he actually wanted to talk to me, whatever that meant. I was glad that Camila promised she'd facilitate it all, because, no matter how hard I tried, I just couldn't take Shawn seriously. I couldn't help but feel like he was about to ask for my blessing or some shit.

I heard his familiar voice greeting Camila at the door, and figured that I should probably get up and be nice. I stood up from the couch, trying to get all lustful images of the brown eyed girl out of my head, and turned to face the pair as they closed the door.

"Hi." I smiled, sending Shawn a small wave as we approached each other.

"Hey, Lauren." he returned, smirking back at me.

We shared a quick hug and I could feel Camila's eyes on us the entire time. I felt a little awkward, but after being in the same room as her and Matthew, and as her and Ty, this felt like child's play. I had to remember that this was just Shawn.

Even though it had been a while since we had seen each other or really talked, I remembered how kind he was, and I knew that he was important to Camila. I really had no reason to have my guard up. I just couldn't really figure out what it was that he wanted to talk to me about.

After an exchange of greetings and small talk, the three of us made our way over to the couch. For a while, we were just...hanging out. Part of me felt like I was waiting for a bomb to drop, but the other part of me actually started to just relax into our conversations. As weird as it was to say, I had sort of missed the Canadian boy. He had always been a calming presence; especially since, unexpectedly, I now had a smoking buddy.

Somewhere amidst our conversations, weed had inevitably come up, and, next thing I knew, Shawn and I were on my balcony getting ready to smoke a joint together.

"I don't know why this is still so unexpected to me." I laughed.

"Lauren, I literally admitted to the world that I smoke in a fucking Rolling Stone interview." he returned.

"Listen, I don't have time to read everything, ok?"

"Yeah, Camila has told me that you're pretty bad with social media."

"I am, and I will wear that badge proudly."

The two of us laughed as I lit the joint and finally slipped it in between my lips. I inhaled, looking at Shawn while he stared off into the distance. I had a feeling he was mentally preparing himself for whatever he was about to say to me. I was glad we could take off some of the edge with our newfound mutual love for smoking. I handed the joint to him when I was done.
