Rory comes home and Coby tries to ask someone out...

Ruby's POV
I couldn't wait to see Rory, he was coming out of hospital today. After the accident happened, it has brought us closer together. Even though I had been visiting him in hospital I couldn't wait until he came out.

I had to get ready for school. I was running late because I had been on FaceTime with Megan late last night, so I woke up later than usual. I chucked on a cream baggy jumper, black leggings and some black high heel boots. I packed my bag quickly and then ran out the door to school, not even thinking about breakfast.

I couldn't help but keep looking at the clock all throughout each lesson. Today was taking forever!
"Ruby, can you please give me angle X from this triangle." My maths teacher asked me, realising that I had been daydreaming.
"40 degrees?" I said stuttering not sure if I had given the correct answer
"Well done!"

The bell finally rang for lunch; my stomach had been rumbling all throughout that lesson, I needed food! I ran to get my food from the canteen, and join the long queue, it was fish and chips today so it will be extra long. After grabbing my fish and chips I sat down at our usual table with Annabel and Bruna.

In the middle of my history lesson, my phone vibrated I sneakily looked at it,
Rory: Hi, I know u r at school but I'm out! Can't wait to see you! x
That was just going to make the day go even slower, this was fourth period I had the rest of this lesson and next lesson until I get to go home. But even when I did get home I still had homework to do, which was so annoying. It's like the school doesn't want me to have a life.

Coby's POV
Over the past few weeks me and Heidi had been getting closer. I really like her and wanted to ask if she would go out with me so badly but I was too scared. I wasn't the best at doing things face to face, if I were to do everything over text message I would be fine. The last lesson of the day was science, it was actually a great lesson to end it off with because I sat next to her, so I could ask her if she wanted to come over tonight.

I sat down in my usual spot waiting for Heidi, she came a few seconds later getting out her stationery that she needed.
"Hi, are you okay?" I said casually not knowing what to say
"Yeah, I'm fine just a bit tired that's all!"
"I was wondering, have you got any plans tonight?"
"Nope!" She said popping the p
"Why?"
"Well would you like to go out to dinner with me? Sorry it's late notice." I said sheepishly
"I would, but I can't I'm going out to a family dinner tonight. Sorry! But I will any other time!"
"Okay." I said awkwardly and then for the rest of the lesson we just sat in silence not saying anything to each other.

Ruby's POV
The bell finally went to let us know that it was the end of the day. I walked to my locker to get out my coat and the homework I needed to do that night and walked home.

When I got to my front door, I got out my key and turned the lock only to hear someone clearing their throat behind me. I turned round to find Ethan standing behind me.
"Ruby I need to tell you something!"
"What?" I said trying to get in the door with all the bags I had in my hand
"You can't go out with Rory!" He said scratching his neck
"And why's that?" I said sounding confused
"Because I really like you Ruby, I know we haven't seen each other that much. But go out with me Ruby please?"

Ha!! Left it on a cliffhanger! Sorry the update has taken so long! Valentines day is coming up! Who will Ruby choose? Also I know Ruby and Rory haven't met up yet since he has come out of hospital but that will be in the next chapter!
