This is a follow-up of "Empty Fort in the Sahara Desert" where Paul and Rochelle still find themselves trapped in the heart of the Sahara desert, and desperately trying to get back to civilization. In this short story, Paul, an experienced engineer, and Rochelle, a spirited and determined woman, embark further on their dangerous Sahara journey, fraught with peril. As they traverse the unforgiving dunes, their bond deepens under the starlit sky, but danger is never far behind. When they stumble upon an exhausted camel carrying a priceless, jewel-encrusted cross, their adventure takes a thrilling turn. With enemies lurking in the shadows and their very survival at stake, Paul and Rochelle must navigate treacherous terrain, both physical and emotional.
