finally. the blonde thought as his work day was over. it was christmas eve and he just wanted to get home to his boyfriend and have some nice sex until christmas rolled around.
he made his way home, christmas music filling his car as the radio stations were all on christmas mode. his fingers tapped the steering wheel to the beat of the tune, humming along every so often.
there was a chill in the breeze but it was LA, the weather was basically always set on hot. he was going to go home for christmas but due to covid his boyfriend wasn't able to make it home. the blonde could but there was no way he was leaving daniel alone. he did think about taking daniel with him but by the time he asked planes had been cancelled or full booked. apparently virginia had just got their first drop of snow, a storm was to be arriving and the snow was already getting to the point we're planes wouldn't be able to land.
he wasn't completely mad that he got to spend christmas with daniel, he was actually more than excited. he was sure the brunette had some master plan, like playing christmas music quietly with christmas scented candles filling their nose as the two made love in the dark. he even thought about the bath, daniel loved to be romantic and wasn't shy about it.
he pulled up to his apartment, texting daniel to see where he was and tell him he was home. he locked his car before walking into the building. he rode the elevator up to his floor before stepping out and walking down the hall. daniel hadn't replied to his message yet so he assumed he must be busy driving (daniel's work hours were sometimes unpredictable)
he came to his hallway when his saw his boyfriend standing by their door, he smiled at him. "why are you waiting?" he asked as he walked towards the boy. "i just got here, i'll always wait for you baby" corbyn blushed at his sentence, reaching the boy and pecking him on the lips.
daniel chased his lips, clearly having the same thought in mind as corbyn's earlier. the blonde grabbed daniel's loose tie, pulling it down so their lips met again. quickly he lead the boy into his apartment, lips still locked as daniels hands rested on the boys hips.
the made it into the door but quickly pulled away when they heard a gasp. "mom?" corbyn asked as his mother was stood in the kitchen. daniel quickly fixed his tie again and stood sheepishly next to his smaller boyfriend. "hi mrs.besson" daniel said and smiled like they hadn't just been caught making out. "oh hun, you've been dating my son for two years. you know you can call me saskia" she smiled and he nodded.
"oh my god mom!" corbyn fully processed what he was witnessing and ran up to her to engulf her small frame in a hug. "hello my dear, surprise!" she wrapped him up in her arms and squeezed him tight. "how are you- what are you-" the blonde started to question. "daniel did you have something to do with this?" corbyn questioned curiously. "no baby, if i did we wouldn't have just been doing what we were doing" saskia laughed at the two before motioning for daniel to come to her.
the boy came over to her and she pulled him into a hug. she loved daniel and how much he cared and loved for her son made her like him even more. "when's that proposal happening?" she whispered into his ear and pulled away. daniel would be shocked if it weren't for the fact that he would be proposing in a month or so. "soon" he muttered and saskia almost squealed.
"ok well hun your brother and sister are upstairs so you can say hello, i'll make us some dinner and then we'll go to our hotel. i'm sure you two had something else planned anyway" she gave corbyn a knowing look and he stuck his tongue out at her. daniel laughed at his boyfriend.
he couldn't wait to marry into this family.
