~ hi (: i just had an anxiety attack so i'm trying to distract myself by writing. this'll be short because of the circumstances. also, extreme fluff ~

~ 3rd person ~

every night was the same. Corbyn would lay in his bed staring at the ceiling. The boy would lay there for hours, thoughts consuming his head as the bags under his eyes slowly grew. Only when the boy calmed his buzzing brain down did he finally get to sleep and by that stage he would be getting up in a couple hours.

Corbyn's way to calm down was to look at something that could consume him. Something that made him feel airy yet enclosed and that thing was the night sky.

So every night after a couple hours of dwelling upon his thoughts (a small portion of them as he had plenty up there for every night) he would venture outside. He would lay down on the lush grass that only looked green when the moonlight hit the tips of each blade.

Corbyn however after a while gained a night owl companion, Daniel. Daniel once followed Corbyn outside when he caught him slipping out the back door. Ever since then they'd find themselves outside together, wether Corbyn was the first out or there or not.

Sometimes they talked, sometimes they didn't. Sometimes one of them never came out. Sometimes they'd sing or hum little tunes. The boys really bonded over their night outings. They were becoming very close and attached to each other. Some of their untold personal matters had been let out into the cold breeze during a long and deep conversation which definitely made their walls come down for each other.

Although being in a band had its fare few secrets shared amongst one another they were more just too much information ones. These secrets were deep, small yet impacting. The biggest concealed thing to slip past both boys lips so late at night was that they were both attracted to men.

That was the biggest moment they shared, gazing into each other's eyes, soft smiles tugging at their lips while Corbyn's hand gave Daniel's a small squeeze, reassuring the boy. It was friendly and kind and gave them both a feeling of belonging, they knew from that day they were in it together.

The two boys currently laid on the cool grass, neither of the two knowing what the time was, nor did they care. The moonlight danced on their skin as their eyes were fixated on the brightly light sky.

The sky seemed to envelope them in a peaceful blanket, a comfortable silence was how this night seemed to be going so far. Their worries were washed away at that time, tucked at the back of their heads for when daylight came.

"Hey Dani?" Corbyn spoke delicately, almost as if, if he were to talk to loud the sky would shake and crumble. The brunette hummed turning over to look at the older boy who's eyes were already on him.

Corbyn couldn't help but fall in love at the sight. The stars reflected in Daniel's dark blue orbs, the moonlight creating a soft glow on his face, accentuating his beautiful bone structure. When the brunette turned to look the blonde in the eyes Corbyn's whole world seemed to go in slow motion. The boys shiny hair bouncing and flopping gently in front of Daniel's eye, his face held a small smile and sometimes when he opened his mouth his pearly white teeth would gleam.

Corbyn didn't reply, not yet. Instead, he turned so he was on his side. He looked at a daisy that was lightly swaying in the breeze between them before gently plucking it out of the grass. The blonde made sure to leave some of the stem as he did so, moving gently to Daniel's hair. The older came in contact with the boys soft hair, pulling it back softly to move it away from his gorgeous eyes. Corbyn then slid the daisy behind Daniel's ear, the brunette blushing a light pink as Corbyn smiled. The blondes hand slowly travelled down until it reached Daniel's, he slowly let their fingers tangle together like they had many times before.

"dani?" Corbyn whispered. "yeah?" Daniel whispered back. "i like you" The blonde spoke as he gazed into the blue orbs he grew to love.

Instead of replying Daniel leaned in and softly connected his lips with Corbyn's. Their soft lips slotting together, sending a warm tingly feeling throughout their bodies.

There the two kissed passionately and yet so softly, under the sky that made their worries float away and made them feel safe. Yet the boys knew now that the feeling of safety wasn't from the sky above, it was from each other.
