for you when you get home. I miss you

daniel smiled as the notification popped up on his screen as he was on his way out of work, he couldn't help but melt at his adorable boyfriend. the blonde knew that daniel was always hungry after work, particularly after a bad day. daniel quickly replied with a 'thank you, ill be home soon x' before he hopped in his car and started making the long journey back home.

daniel arrived to his shared apartment with his boyfriend after a long day at work. the brunette knew corbyn was home as he finished work earlier than himself but when he called out for the blonde there was no response.

the boy made his way up the stairs and only when he reached half way did he hear the noise of running water. corbyn was in the shower. daniel subconsciously let out a breath as he opened the door to their big ensuite and saw corbyn through the shower glass. the room was steamy but the brunette could make out his boyfriends gleaming naked body as the water ran over his gorgeous skin. daniel felt relived just looking at his lover being so immersed in the water that he hadn't even realised he was there. the brunette stripped of his clothes as he made his way to the shower. the blonde was facing the water, letting it wet his hair as daniel came up behind him.

the brunette brought his hands from the blonde's shoulders up to his neck before weaving through his wet locks, scratching his scalp lightly. daniel kissed the base of the back of his neck, feeling the boy relax. "hello my love" his voice was smooth like honey and the soft smile on his face when he turned to face the brunette was just as sweet. "hi handsome" the younger smiled up at the goofy looking boy before leaning up and delicately kissing the lips he had missed all day. "how was your day babyboy?" corbyn asked after pulling away from the gentle kiss. "it's getting better now that I'm with you. how about you bubba" in response the blonde just pulled daniel in by his waist and buried his head in daniel's neck, it was all corbyn needed to do for daniel to understand how his day went. the brunette let out a breathy laugh at the boy and kissed his cheek as he brought his hands up to hold the boys head. daniel's fingers ran through the boys messy hair as corbyn left butterfly kisses over his neck and collarbone, it was just the two of them. the two of them with the water running over their bodies, embraced in each others arms, peace washed over them and any thought that wasn't this moment was forgotten.

the two pulled away ever so slightly before connecting their lips in a passionate kiss and only just could you hear the soft mumble of words slipping into the kiss, only just.
