She sobbed. She felt something in her shattered into pieces. She forced a laughter. "Yah, this joke you got today"
"I'm telling you the truth, Gyuri. I'm so sorry" "No. Tell me it's not true" she paused as she tried to gulp for air between her sobs. "Is that why you never tell me about your day?"
"Yes. Because I have none of them anymore"
They were silent for a few moments.
"I'm so sorry that I came to you" Felix said. "I knew you're the only person I can meet though after my passing. I remember you tell me how you met your dying aunt in your dream when we were little. So sorry for using you all this time. For tricking you. For haunting you" he chuckled. "Yup. I know I had been haunting you all this time here"
"Yah, you can't leave me alone. District 10 is not complete without you. And I looked forward to visit you" Gyuri voiced. "So please say you're joking right now" she held onto his jacket tightly. "Please"
Felix caressed her head. "My friend is all grow up" he mustered a smile. "I wish I can see you in the real world. And accompany you there. I want to see you study, graduate, get marry, have kids, all that with my own eyes. But it seems that" he swallowed past the lump. "I had to go first"
He broke the hug. Gyuri held on his hands. "Yah, you can't do this to me. We had been growing up together. How can I ... without you..." her shoulder jolted as she sobbed.
"I know you will do well in your life" he caressed her head. Gyuri looked up and met his eyes. He gave her a smile for the last time. "I want to rest, Gyuri. Will you wish me good luck on my journey there?"
"You know I don't want to" "Tsk. This girl" "But I will" she swallowed past the lump and took a deep breath. She mustered a smile for him. Gyuri smacked his arm. "Good luck, buddy. Have a safe journey. Thank you for everything, for all the memories"
"I want to thank you too. And sorry" "Yah, saying sorry will only make me want you to stay" she smirked. "And good job for everything you had done for everyone, and for yourself"
He smiled as he was touched with her words. Felix cupped her face with a wide sheepish smile. "I know I can depend on you" tears slid down his face. Gyuri couldn't held her tears anymore and broke into tears once more. Felix pulled her into his embrace for the last time. "Goodbye, Gyuri" he whispered.
Gyuri fell onto the sandy beach on her knees. She couldn't lift her head as she wailed at the thought of losing her precious long-time friend. And she was now at the beach of District 10... alone.

"Yah, Gyuri!" Goeun shook her. Gyuri eyes blinked open and she sat up. Tears slid down her cheeks. "Hey" Goeun saw it and her eyebrows furrowed. She sat on her bed and pulled her into her arms. Gyuri continued to sob. "It's okay, it's okay" Goeun spoke. "Everything will be fine"
"No, it's not! He's gone! Felix is gone!"
Goeun was at lost for words. She caressed her back, comforting her.
The sun rose hours later. Goeun glanced at Gyuri who was still in her bed, blanket covering her head.
"Gyuri, I'm heading to class. I left some bread on your table. Make sure to eat" Goeun voiced but Gyuri didn't reply or move a little. *I hope she'll be okay* Goeun closed the door behind her.
Daniel ran out from the apartment area and into the college area. He looked around and managed to catch a glimpse of someone familiar. He ran towards the person, tapped on the person's shoulder.
"Daniel!" Goeun was surprised. "Good morning"
"Good morning" he replied between his panting. "Do you..." he tried to catch his breath.
"Gyuri is absent today" she could guess his question. His face lit up. "Thank you so much" he bowed so many times. "I'll take my leave then" he was about to leave when she called him again.
"She's not really okay today. So please be understanding"
Daniel stared at her face for a tad. He nodded. "Okay I will. Thank you"
Wonwoo glanced down at his watch. *Man, how can I wake up late?! And Daniel is not around to wake me up!* he ran around the empty hallway where everyone already gone into the hall. He sneaked into the lecture hall from the backdoor and sat at an empty seat at the back of the hall. He sighed and took out his books. Wonwoo looked around to look for Gyuri. *Where is this girl? Is she absent today? Don't tell me she overslept today too*
Gyuri looked down to her phone in her grip. It was messages sent by Wonwoo. She sighed and continued to stare into space. Daniel's steps slowed down as he arrived at the bus stop where Gyuri was. Gyuri looked up and saw Daniel. Daniel opened his mouth to say something but decided not to. Gyuri looked away and ignored his presence. Daniel sat a few seats away. The two was silent throughout the time at the empty bus stop.
A few buses came to stop but Gyuri only stood when the fifth bus that arrive. Daniel followed her without a word. After paid for herself and Daniel, Gyuri took a sit. Daniel sat behind her. They were silent for a few moments.
"Gyuri" Daniel called. Gyuri didn't respond. She stayed in her position of leaning her head against the window weakly, without any expression on her face. Daniel sighed. He stood and moved to sit next to her.
He took her hands and held onto them. "Hey, I know what happen. It's about Master Felix, right?" She didn't respond. Daniel decided to just tell her.
