Three years later, reporters started to enter a hall of a building where a press conference will be held. As the crowds settled, a lady made her way into the hall and took the place on the stage where a card with 'Writer Jang Gyuri' was placed. Camera flashes filled the room. It was the launching of a new book.

After greeted the audience, Writer Jang took the mic once again. "I deeply apologize in behalf of co-writer Jeon couldn't make it today since he has an important exam to attend"

The conference proceeded with Q&A session.

"Why do you end the story with the main character, General Kang death? It's unusual for a story to end with the hero's death"

"As you said" Gyuri began. "It is unusual. But his death was something unplanned. No one wants him to die. He was precious to everyone. I too have a hard time to accept the fact..." she paused. She bit her lips for a while. The image of Daniel smiling came into her mind. She cleared her throat. "I mean I have a hard time to end the story like that. But I think it for the best. Besides, I think it's a great plot twist instead of the usual 'hero live happily ever after' concept that everyone expects from such storyline"

"Can you tell us what inspire you the most in writing story?"

"I've been writing since I was small. Unfortunately, my parents were against my hobby. And so I couldn't write a lot back then as I would sneak to write only to get caught later. But after I entered college, I found the courage to believe and love myself and just myself do the things that I love, not limited by anyone's perception. Besides that, I think this one thing that everyone has really help me in writing" Gyuri paused and smiled. "Dream. For others, it might be just your mind playing with you while you're sleeping, but for me, dream give me ideas to write. I must say dreaming is a gift for human. There you can create your own world, have fun and meet those precious to you" The image of Felix came into her mind. She smiled to herself.

"Writer Jang, some fans wonder, if you have your own muse, someone who inspire you to write?"

With the question, some reporters laughed including Gyuri.

"I really have no one special right now, if that's the point of your question" Gyuri answered. "But to point out a specific person who inspire me a lot to write" she paused and looked across the audience. "It's Daniel" she smiled. "The main character. He taught me a lot, both as a writer and a person. And I hope through this novel, other people will find strength in life like I did"

It was night. Gyuri walked into the library. She walked passed the rows of table, some occupied by students. She stopped at a table occupied by a student. Gyuri joined the student. "Working on a new story, Writer Jeon?"

Wonwoo looked up. He gave her a small smirk. "You bet"

"How's exam?" Gyuri took out her things. "Good, I guess" he chuckled. "Yah, I allow you to skip the conference for your exam" "Nah, don't worry I did my best. Really" Wonwoo turned to Gyuri. "So how's the press today?" "Great. Oh!" Gyuri took her bag again and searched for something. "So I was on my way here from the press. I saw a book store and decided to look for new book"

"You sure you're not there to look for my book?" "What- no, But I did look at how fast your books are sold" Gyuri chuckled. She handed him a small gift box. "This is from one of your fans"

"I have a fan?!" Wonwoo snatched the box excitedly.

"Yea. She recognise me and asked me to give that to you. She said she's a big fan of you since your previous book"

"Woah!" Wonwoo opened the box and took out an expensive watch. Gyuri's mouth agape. "That' sick!"

Wonwoo tried it on and gasped. "This is gorgeous!"

"Lucky you" Gyuri smirked. Wonwoo smiled sheepishly at her. "Now I'm fire up to write more!" he punched the air. "Okay, let's start shall we?" he quickly put the gift away and she watched him with laughter.

Both Wonwoo and Gyuri walked out from the library.

"You want to go straight home?" he asked. "Yea" she turned to him behind him. "Why, you want to go somewhere?"

"Nah" he smiled.

They walked away from the library. Wonwoo halted his step. His right hand grip harder onto the bag strap on his shoulder.

"Gyuri" he called.

Gyuri turned to him. "Yea?"

Wonwoo took his bag and reached for an object inside it. "I kind of bought this on my way to the library" he held out a stalk of rose to her. Gyuri gasped. "Woah" she looked up to him but he looked away, bitting his lips. She smiled and took it. "For me?" She giggled. "Why would you buy-"

"Go out with me"

Both Gyuri and Wonwoo stared at each other, surprised at Wonwoo's words. Gyuri broke the silent with her laugh. Wonwoo whined "I'm being serious here. Will you go out with me?" his face was red, embarrassed.

Gyuri smirked. "I think you don't remember that I friend-zoned everyone" she approached him. "But..." his shoulder fell and ready to accept the rose again. Only to receive a surprise.

Gyuri stood in front of him. She gave him a peck on his cheek. "Except you. And now we're even right?" Gyuri walked ahead, leaving him.

Wonwoo stunted. His eyes followed Gyuri. He snapped out from his thought and ran up to her. "Wait, does that mean yes?"

Gyuri looked away. "Of course, silly" Both couldn't meet each other's eye as they walked. But their hand entwined with smiles on their lips.
