 "We're here" Daniel pushed the branches to reveal a kingdom before them.

Daniel and Wonwoo walked side by side into the village area. They looked around.

"Am I seeing this right?" Wonwoo voiced. "Yup" Daniel replied. "No one is here"

"There" Daniel pointed to the castle of the kingdom. But the area was not guarded. In fact, not a single human being can be seen around.

They stepped into the ruined castle area. Wonwoo followed Daniel to inspect the castle. They went through a few room there. Wonwoo lifted his head to his side. "Dan"

Daniel looked up to him and followed his gaze.

"We haven't check that room yet" Wonwoo voiced.

They walked to the end of the hallway and stopped in front of the room.

* * *

The door was opened. Gyuri shoot up from her sitting place. She waited for someone to come into the room. She clenched a tight fist, nervous.

* * *

"What the-" Wonwoo voiced.

* * *

A man in military clothes entered the room. He bowed to Gyuri. She stepped back in fear but replied his bow.

"His Majesty ask for you" the man voiced. "Oh" she was thinking for a while. *But this guy is being too polite*

"His Majesty is asking for you to be there fast. Or he requests me to shoot you" the man already aimed his gun to her head, poker faced. Gyuri gulped. "Okay. Let's go"

* * *

"It's just another room full of dust" Daniel chuckled. Wonwoo continued to cough. "Just where in the world did everyone go?!"

The two eventually exited the empty castle. They sat at the staircase of the castle, facing the courtyard.

"You sure we're at the right kingdom?" Wonwoo asked after he gulped down his drink. "Positively. I came here a few times" Daniel sighed. "This kingdom packed with people. But it is empty like everyone is kick out from here"

"Did Jinyoung just kick out his whole kingdom?" "For?" "I don't know. I'm just guessing" "Guessing" Daniel rephrased. "You know, our guessing might be wrong"

"About?" "Maybe she is not kidnap by Jinyoung" "Then who will take her? Jinyoung is the only person who knows about this story. He might want to change the storyline to let himself has everything" "And eliminate me" Daniel sighed. "If Jinyoung really did take her, where is him? This kingdom is empty!"

"Maybe he knew we'll be looking for her" Wonwoo turned to Daniel. "He doesn't want anyone to find her. That's why he empties this kingdom in the first place. None of his people will know about Gyuri's existence"

"Okay I understand about the people part. But why is the castle empty too? He can just hide her here. Why going through difficulty and run away?-" Daniel gasped. "He knew we'll be coming and so he hid her somewhere else. He went into hiding!"

"Bro, you just rephrased my point" Wonwoo rolled his eyes.

"Let's go" Daniel quickly took his stuff and started to walk away. "Yah" Wonwoo called him. Daniel turned to him. "Where are we going?" Wonwoo asked. "No idea. But we can just go to every place to look for her. So hurry up!" Daniel continued to walk.

Wonwoo ran up to him and blocked his way.

"What are you doing?! Move!" Daniel demanded. "Let's just think about this for a while" "Wonwoo, we're wasting every second of our time. Gyuri might be in danger and we're stil here, talking!" "I know. I'm worried of her too. But we'll waste more time if we go look for her at every single kingdom that every exist like lunatic! And if as you said, she's in danger, I'm not sure if we can save her"

Daniel stared at Wonwoo in silence. He finally sighed. "So what do you suggest we do?"

"Okay first, what kingdom is this?" "The Steel Kingdom" "Is there any kingdom of fire, maybe?" "Fire?" Daniel looked at him as if he was mad. "What does the Kingdom of Fire have anything to do with this?"

"Because you need fire to bend a metal" "But the kingdom takes a month on horse from here" "What?!" Wonwoo sighed. He started to think more. "So you kind of have element kingdom here, right?"

"Yea. But still, we can't go to all those kingdoms. We can't waste any more time" "Or at least of those kingdom" Wonwoo pointed to a nearby pond and Daniel turned his gaze there. He tilted his head, puzzled. "Water?"

"Since water is steel's weakness. Steel will rust when they are exposed to damp" Wonwoo explained. "But why would he go there? The element is his weakness" Daniel asked.

"If you were to play hide and seek, where will you hide?" "Somewhere I think no one will expect me to go? Maybe somewhere I'm scared of, like hide in the dark?" "Exactly!"

* * *

Gyuri entered the room again and it was locked from the outside. She snorted. "They asked me to go out only to give me some dessert. I thought that Jinyoung guy want to see me. I'm nervous for no reason"

She sat on the bed. She started to feel dizzy and can barely keep herself awake. She fell to her side, unconscious.

Gyuri opened her eyes slowly. She sat up from lying on the bed. "How can I fell asleep? How long has it been?"

"2 hours" a male voice replied.

Her head snapped to the source of the voice that was from the study beside her bed. A male was sitting there. He turned to her with a small smile. "Hi, Gyuri-ssi"

"H-Hi" she hesitated to answer. "Come on, don't be scared" the male chuckled. "You know me right?" he smirked.

"Of course" she narrowed her eyes to him, her eyes clenched tight the bed cover in fear. "Bae Jinyoung"

Jinyoung laughed. "It's weird to hear my creator to call my name like that. You know I own a kingdom. I often hear people calls me with respect"

"You don't deserve my respect" she hissed.

"Aish" Jinyoung smirked. "You have a talent of getting on my nerve, Gyuri-ssi. Unfortunately, I need you alive"

"Why am I here?! What do you want from me?!" "I think you can guess that I'm the one who kidnap you. But you have no idea why I did so" "So tell me" she fixed her sharp gaze on him. "Why do you need me alive?"

"Ah, you really like to rush thing" he stood and turned the chair to face her. He once again sat facing her.

"Do you know about the book?" "Book?" "Yea. The turquoise one. You use to write-" "My storyline" "Yea. That one. Well, I'm not sure if you aware of this but I kind of lost it" "Yea I know. After you stole it from me!" "Stole?" he chuckled. "You make me sound like a villain"

"Unfortunately, Bae Jinyoung-ssi. That's your role in my story. But now you're taking a life on your own and does not obey on my plot" "I know" he smirked proudly. "And I guess you despise me a lot"

"Yes" Gyuri replied. "Unfortunately, I will not hate you if you just stick to your role"

"And let Daniel have it all? That's not fair, don't you think so? Who are you to decide on my life?!" "You're just a character I created!" "Then let me make you regret of creating me, Gyuri-ssi" he stood with his hand in his pocket.

Jinyoung bent down to her. "But first things first, I think I might just have a little rationality left in me. I should at least explain what's going on to you, right?" he stood straight again.

"Well, I lost the book and almost fail my whole plan. But guess what?" he turned to her. Gyuri kept a hatred glare on him. "I found it!" he smiled proudly before continued to pace around the room as he spoke. "It was near me all this while. A little girl thought the book was a unique book so she took it home. My men did ask for the book... nicely, I guess. But she refused" he shrugged. "So my men had to take it from her"

"What happen to the girl?" Gyuri grew scared. Her eyes followed him pacing around the room.

Jinyoung stopped and turned to her with a smirk.
