Hi everyone. This is the third chapter to my fanfic. Hope you enjoy.

Korekiyo and I walked towards my house, talking about what we should do for the project. We talked about some good people to do it on, but before we could finalize our decision, we arrived at my place.
"This is yours?" He asked, surprised. I laughed. "Yeah. My mom is a nurse and my dad is a lawyer." I said. I led him inside, and he began to look around, almost in wonder at the artifacts and weapons lining the walls.
He hummed as he examined the paintings, pointing slightly with his bandaged hands, as if he were about to ask something, but stopped himself. I began to head down the hall towards the library, calling back to him. "Korekiyo! Over here!" I gave him a small wave, and he went over. "My apologies. I seemed to have been distracted. And please, call me Kiyo from now on. People think it's easier to say." I smiled. "Sure. I figured you would be drawn to this, mainly because of your talent." I said. "Hmmm...do you know much about anthropology?" He asked, his eyes locking on to me. "Yes, actually. I've been studying different cultures from around the world. I'm currently working my way through Russia." I responded. "I think we will get along nicely, then." He said, his voice lifting slightly.
We settled in the library, and Korekiyo examined the books like he did with the paintings and artifacts. He picked out a few volumes, then we settled in one of the large tables in one of the corners. "Ah. I forgot." I said softly, pulling out my phone. "Texting someone?" Kiyo asked. I smiled. "My mom. I should've let her know I was home."
Hey mom. Sorry I didn't text you earlier. First day went well. I'm doing a history project with a partner.
Alright sweetie. Don't worry. I'm sure your history project is important. I love you :)
Love you too :)
After I finished texting my mom, I sat down besides Kiyo, and we resumed talking about which historical figure to do our project on. We suggested a few, but finally settled on George Washington, the first president of the United States. "Before we start, you need anything?"I asked. "Water? Something to eat?" "No thank you, but I'm glad you offered." He responded. We worked in silence for a little while, until I looked up at him. He was concentrating on his book, eyes skimming over the words. I stared at him for a few seconds longer, before he glanced at me.
"Something wrong?" He asked. I felt heat rise in my face and turned away. "No. Nothing." I said. "Are you sure?" He said, a teasing edge to his voice. "Yes. I'm sure." I said, cracking a smile, at the same time turning redder. "Alright then." He said. To my surprise, he stretched out a bandaged hand and set it on top of mine, which made me go even more red. We continued working on our project for a bit, until he suggested we wrap it up for today. I grabbed my things, and just as I was going to take Kiyo to the door, my phone buzzed with a text from my dad.
Don't forget about your training, okay? Love you son.
Was just about to start. Love you too.
I began to head to the training are behind the house, and Kiyo followed me there. "I thought you were going to the front door." He said. "Sorry." I laughed apologetically. "I have to hone my skills as an Ultimate. I train every day here." I said. "Ah, then do you mind if I watch? I would like to see how you perform." Kiyo said. "If that's alright with you." I nodded. I set my bag on the floor, and walked towards the training area, which was comprised of several training dummies, along with a blank silvery wall.
I snapped my fingers. "Weapon wall, open." With a hiss, the silvery surface split open to reveal many types of weapons, from spears and swords, to guns and even a rocket launcher. I turned to look at Kiyo, who had leaned forward on his seat on a bench nearby. I grabbed two swords, and then motioned to Kiyo to enter the training area. He did so, and I handed him a sword. "What is this for?" He asked, confused. "Training." I replied. "Been a while since I had an actual opponent. Need to test myself." I said to him. "Well then. I would also like to test myself against another Ultimate." We settled a few yards apart in the grass, swords held out in front of us. We then swung the swords up, then down, so they were now at our sides. I went into an attacking stance, while Kiyo held up his sword defensively. He looked up at me, and I could feel his great golden eyes bore into me. I blushed. Get your head in the game, Horiuchi! Why are you liking someone you just met?
"Let's dance." I said.
