Hey everyone. Hope you enjoy the chapter of this fanfic. I'm going through a case of writers block so it might take a bit for the next chapter to come out.

I sighed as Kiyo ran his hands through my hair softly. We were heading to a gala that my parents were hosting, for people who needed medical help that couldn't afford it. "I'm nervous and I don't know why." I said to Kiyo as he stopped running his fingers through my hair and straightened his tie. He wore his usual olive green suit, and had his hair up in a nice ponytail with his mask off. I was also dressed in my usual formal outfit, my orange suit. We headed down to the taxi as I hummed softly. We arrived at the gala venue and headed in, hand in hand. Some people congratulated us on our wedding as we walked by. We met up with my parents, who were talking with another couple, both with green hair, and had a second couple near them. I laughed, recognizing them both. Rantaro and Kirumi. "Ah, this is my son, Horiuchi." My mother said, introducing me to the couple. "This is Mr and Mrs Amami. They've agreed to help us out with the gala."
I nodded, and shook their hands. "We heard about the wedding. Oh, do you mind if I..." Mrs. Amami asked as I shook her hand, and she clasped my ringed hand and moved it to her face."Oh, it's beautiful. Your husband has a good tasted in jewelry." She said as she admired the ring. I laughed. "You flatter me, Mrs. Amami." Kiyo said. "Oh, Korekiyo, it was amazing to see you at the altar. Rantaro sent me some pictures of it." Mrs. Amami said. "Speak of the devil." She said as Rantaro moved over with Kirumi. "Hey, man." He said, pulling me into a hug. He did the same with Kiyo, and Kirumi did the same with both of us. As she pulled away she gripped my hands, smiling. "I'm very glad you got married. You and Korekiyo looked simply stunning." I laughed. "Thank you. I'm glad you got to see it." I responded. She released me as two people came over. "Ms. Yukizome. Mr. Munakata." I said, surprised, as they walked over with another man. I recognized him as one of the people to stand up against the gunmen in the shooting. "Horiuchi! This is Juzo Sakakura. He's the head of security at the school." I shook the man's hand eagerly. "Congratulations. I heard about the wedding." He said. "What wedding?" Ms. Yukizome asked. "You didn't know, Ms. Yukizome?" "Call me Chisa." She smiled. I laughed, and held up my ringed hand. "Kiyo and I got married."
I said brightly. "That's wonderful!" Chisa said.I laughed as she examined the ring. "I'm so glad you got married! I bet it was exciting." She said. I laughed again. "Oh, it was exciting and terrifying. Well, walking down the aisle and saying my vows, that was the hardest part." I showed her some pictures of the wedding, including a close up of our faces as we were dancing. We were both pink in the face, both smiling as we swayed to the music. She smiled as she viewed us, in what was probably the happiest moment in all our lives.
We continued to talk to everyone for about two hours or so, and then the gala ended. "We should walk home." I suggested to Kiyo. "The stars are beautiful tonight." He nodded. We began to walk home, discussing the gala.
Korekiyo POV
Suddenly, he said loudly, "It's not nice to be followed." We both turned to see a figure there in the shadow of the darkened sidewalk. It appeared to be a woman. "You." He said. "Me." Ane said, stepping out into the light. She wore a deep black dress with a black mask on. Horiuchi stepped in front of me. "You touch him, you die." He snarled. "Aww, does the little bow want to defend his partner?" She said in a sickly sweet tone. "I know over twenty forms of martial arts. You don't scare me." He said, moving towards her. She stepped forward as well. "You wouldn't hit a lady, would you?" She said, still using that tone of voice. "I would if that lady was threatening everyone I loved in the process." He replied. The both lunged at each other, ready to fight.Horiuchi POV
I rushed at her, dodging her first strike, and planted a kick in her ribs. I twisted, and planted a second kick into her jaw. She yelped and stumbled back, her mask falling off. Kiyo moved beside me and adopted a fighting stance. "Don't come near us ever again." He said. She pulled two small daggers from her dress. She swiped at Kiyo, and he blocked, and then twisted, sending the dagger skittering across the sidewalk. She lunged at me with the second, and I caught the blade between my hands inches before it impaled me. I pulled it away as Kiyo kicked her in the side. I spun, and kicked her in the shoulder. She then kneed Kiyo in the chest, and as she turned to me, I decked her in the face."Stay away from my husband." I snarled, helping Kiyo up from the ground. "Let's go, Kiyo." I said. He nodded, and we began to run home, fleeing into the darkness as Ane scrambled to get up. We ran faster, finally arriving at home, and we locked ourselves inside our apartment. "We're safe." Kiyo panted. Suddenly, the room went dark, and something hit me in the head, causing me to fade into unconsciousness.
