"P'Pha, tell me what should I do to help. You were working with your friend to find Wayo didn't you?" Bas had come approaching Phana who was in the living room having his coffee. He was just coming back from his work when he saw Bas coming down getting closer to him.
"Well, I couldn't say working together, because he works alone, with his people. But yes, he was working on Wayo part. He asks me to focus on the company part but being a Kongtanin, I couldn't possibly creeping in your, I mean, Wayo's family's company's affairs. Why don't we work together on that part?"
Phana had suggested to Bas. He was meant to discuss this with Bas about this matter, but then, seeing how weak his condition was, he was postponing it a bit. But now, since Bas himself had brought this matter up, then he didn't have any reason to postpone it anymore.
"What should I do?" Phana had been thinking for a while of what Bas could do and what he could do to help. Since Bas didn't work in the company, is there any way for him to know much about the company?
"Hmm, for the start, let's visit your grandfather. I should pay respect to him as a new family member. We did have a few dinners with your father, but I have yet had any with your grandfather. I only get to meet him briefly at the wedding." Phana would have said, making Bas was sighing and smiling awkwardly.
He didn't really feel comfortable around his grandfather. He never was, though he wonders how Wayo reacted with his grandfather. His father doesn't say much about how the relationship between Wayo and his grandfather is, but he knew, it was just right having dinner with his grandfather with Phana.
"Did... did you not...." Phana was having his scrunched-up face, thinking when suddenly, "Oh shit!" he was screaming making Bas startled on his seat. "Was this is a good thing or a bad thing? If he gets suspicious or feels weird, what would he do? He will have to find the truth, right?" Phana seems like having a personal turmoil conversation making Bas more than confused.
"P'Pha.....what are you talking about?" Hearing Bas, Phana had look at him deep in his eyes, before he taking in a deep breath. "Did your relationship with your grandfather wasn't good, like, at all?" Phana then asked confounded Bas.
Bas then would be nodding his head slowly and carefully while his eyes never leaving Phana's face. Phana was heaving a sigh.
"The thing is, Wayo was really spoiled by his grandfather but without his father knew about it. It was always cold and formal, whenever they are in front of his father and other family members, but Wayo would always spend time with his grandfather, especially if his father on a business trip. He told me about it, whenever he wanted to talk about his grandfather. I was thinking, he might realize your difference, but he might not think to the extent of a different person, right?"
Bas's eyes were wide open, hearing the inconceivable fact since his grandfather always exude this cold aura, and his eyes were always cold whenever they look at each other. Never once he had a proper conversation with his grandfather, though he was to be blamed too since he was always avoiding any situation that could make him too close with that old man. 'Was he realize about me?'
"Make an appointment with him first, then we will see." Phana finally has said.

"We were able to pull his old number's phone records and we traced every number Wayo had called the last month before he was believed to go missing. There were a few numbers that were looking suspicious. One from a travel agent, one from a foreign country, and another one was a taxi driver. Wayo has always had a driver with him wherever he was going, so, feeling suspicious with the contact, we contact the taxi number and the travel agent."
Kimmon was hearing this guy's, name Ice, explanation on Wayo's finding mission current progress. "The driver taxi surprisingly remembers Wayo very clearly because of his cute face and the fact that he took him around this rich neighborhood. Though the night was still early, he said Wayo looks like a running away teenager, so he was making sure to take note of him. Police always come to the taxi driver for every missing person cases, according to him."
Seeing no question from Kimmon, Ice continues. "He sends Wayo to an airport and have some brief conversation and he manages to ask Wayo where he was heading to, and he said Wayo telling him he was about to go to Korea to find someone."
Now, Kimmon's face a little scrunched up, hearing Wayo's last destination target was Korea. "Phana was in Korea at that time, but since he could always contact Phana, so, it must not be Phana he was looking for. Bas had been living in Korea with his mother, did he actually know about Bas before he went missing? Or was it the reason he went missing? What about the foreign number?"
Kimmon would ask Ice. "It turns out the number belonged to his friend who now lives in Korea. The guy was his high school friend, and they weren't actually that close. Wayo contacted him one day asking for a favour from him to be his tourist guide since he didn't really know how to move around if he were to go to Korea. But, Wayo never showed up at the airport and never contacted him later that actually makes him furious. He felt betrayed."
Kimmon was looking deep ahead, without even turning to Ice who was actually standing not far from his desk's side. "So, he never gets to the plane, then. Any CCTV records from the airport?" Hearing Kimmon, Ice would shake his head.
"The airport only keeps CCTV records only prior to three months back. However, we try a few GPS applications that Wayo might use on his phone at that time and we did find it. The last location recorded in that account was this place outskirt of the city, at a deserted road. The last time recorded was a few hours after the time the taxi driver had dropped him at the airport. We have been looking around the area, but we couldn't find anything."
Kimmon was taking the tablet handed by Ice and was looking at the pictures taken by Ice. "It was a deserted road, outskirt of the city, and what the hell was Wayo was doing there instead of being in the flight he was supposed to be in? There are only two possibilities, he was following someone he knew, which I highly doubt that that makes us to the best conclusion. He was brought there by force. Was his mobile trashed there? Did you see anything left?" Ice was shaking his head. Kimmon was sighing.
"Anything on Krit?" Kimmon then would ask Ice. "Mr. Krit had never had any police record, which I guess, Mr. Teerasak, Wayo's grandfather had aware of it already, thus accepting him as his son-in-law. He had a clean record, graduate from the university with a great result and was working in Piniwat Industries for three years before getting married into Piniwat. But, Master Kimmon....."
Hearing the words trailed from Ice making Kimmon turns to him fast, frowning. Ice then coming closer to Kimmon and was handed him an old picture of a twin brother who was standing side-by-side which one of them giving a bright smile and the other was just giving his staring at the camera.
"Just like you asked, we did digging his record deep into his childhood, but it turns out he fake the record of his childhood. In his record state that he was the only son of bakery's owner back in their village, which the truth that, it turned out the boy, the real son of the bakery was actually had died in an accident in middle school. Asking around, to some people around his age, and older, they had talked about a famous delinquent in that village back then.
They were a very opposite twin that usually gets confused by the other villagers and had always blamed the good one when they thought it was the delinquent one. The twin was actually from an orphanage, so we make a visit there. That's the only picture they have about them, which they didn't even realize all the other pictures had gone, mysteriously. The twin's names were Krit and Prit. Krit was the good one, and Prit was the delinquent one."
