Chapter 26

"Sorry I'm late today, Cop. I had to attend my friend's wedding." Kimmon was taking a seat opposite Copter at the backyard of Tae and Tee's house. As usual, Copter wasn't giving much response. "Cop, P'Kim is here. I need to go to the café to help Tae. Be good, okay?" Tee then patting on Copter's shoulder before leaving them both.

After that commotion that day, Copter was asked to be back home right away. But not before Kimmon had done a few more tests on Copter's eyes. The next day, Kimmon was knocking on the house door, telling them all, he will personally giving Copter treatment, physically and mentally to help Copter cope with his new lifestyle and telling them they couldn't deny his offer since he already applied for two month's leave.

It was difficult for him to take that leave, considering he was just get transferred to this hospital, but luckily the director knew him personally and he knew how Kimmon had never taken any leave before. So, the director was shocked was actually an understatement, so he reluctantly gave him his two months' leave. One month official leave and one-month unpaid leave.

"Why would you willing taking things this far for Copter? Knowing you and your career, Copter wasn't your first patient to get to this stage." Tae would ask. Kimmon was just smiling at the question. "Don't need to know my reason, and just accept my offer, okay? Just know that I care for Copter so much, please."

Kimmon even says please, and thinking that they would be busy once the café open, Tae and Tee don't have many choices. And they had delayed opening the café for another week already, so they can't delay it anymore. So, Kimmon had been coming to the house from early morning until late at night every day, rejecting Tae's offer to just sleep in their guest room. That makes him more convinced of the fact that Tee tells him how weird of a guy Kimmon is.

But, Copter's condition doesn't get better. He was still in denial, and wouldn't talk much even to Tee. "Have you had lunch?" Kimmon would ask and Copter wouldn't even respond. But Kimmon would just smile watching the expressionless face of Copter which he still found that face is cute but with extra dimple, it will be cuter.

"You know, the wedding was so sweet and I've found it very romantic. My friend is a handsome man, you know. And his partner was so cute and they look so good together." Kimmon keeps on talking while Copter was keeping his mouth shut all the time.

"I wish I could have that kind of marriage too, but I know I can't." Hearing that from Kimmon was making Copter turning to his side. Well, during these days that Kimmon had been accompanying him, his tone was always cheerful even though Copter was never replied to him nor giving him any response. Kimmon wouldn't even stop talking even Copter was treating him so coldly.

"Why?" Kimmon was so shocked hearing Copter talk to him at last, but then he was frowning when he thought about the reason Copter was talking to him. "If I know you will talk to me like this, I should have made up some sad stories about myself, then."

"Don't answer then." Copter then turning back to the front enjoying the wind on his face. That is how he could calm himself down, or he would be panic every time he has opened his eyes every morning just to see only the dark and nothing else.

Kimmon was smirking at how Copter had reacted. He was watching Copter's face and no matter how much he keeps on looking at him, he could never have enough. "I'm sorry." Hearing that from Copter was making Kimmon confused. "Huh?"

"I'm sorry about my manner towards you, P'Kim. Instead of rebelling, I should be thankful to you, to Tee, and to Tae. The things that happened to me, none of it was your fault, nor Tee nor Tae's. All of you did to me was nothing but treated me so good despite my behavior. If I don't have you three, I don't know where I would be today. Today, when you didn't come as you always did, I came to think that maybe you will stop coming and how it makes me feel. Then, I realize how I had treated you all, all this time. I was afraid, P. To think that you will not come ever again, makes me feel more afraid than I already was. I don't know what to do, and how to keep on living in this state, P'Kim. I was so afraid I don't know what to do."

Copter was fidgeting with his fingers and was crying once again. Kimmon felt relieved seeing Copter was crying, since, after that day in the hospital, Copter never cried again. He keeps everything inside and it wasn't good. And now, when Copter was already opening up, things will just get better from now on. He will make sure of it.

"Tee, what's wrong?" Tee who was going straight to the kitchen looking for Tae with his teary eyes making Tae shocked. Literally, it wasn't just Tae, but everyone else too. But then, being secure in both Tae's arms and hiding his face in Tae's chest, Tee was crying his heart out.

Seeing that Tee's condition would take some time, Tae had turned to Wutt, while the guy would nod his head understanding. Tae would mouth to him 'thank you' and Wutt just shooing him away, to settle whatever it is that makes Tee crying.

Tae then dragging Tee and brought him into the office before he pushed crying mess Tee out from his arms so he could see his lover's cute face.

"Copter finally talked to me this morning. He told me he was afraid, every day he wakes up, and he was afraid to find out one day he will be alone, again. He used to be alone because he knew he didn't have anyone, but in this new condition, he couldn't help but feel afraid. What should I do, Tae? What should I do?"

Tee was talking while still crying and Tae was never failed to rub on his back, to calm him and he then wipe the tears on Tee's face. "You did great, Tee. Just be as you always be. And please make Copter understand, we will never let him go, ever. Copter had to understand that he has us. I'm glad he was talking finally. I was so worried that his condition will get worse. This will not be easy, but we will face all this together, okay, baby?"

Still, his tears wouldn't stop falling, Tee was nodding his head. Tae then was pulling Tee into his arms once again, letting him cry some more. He knew Tee still thinks that whatever happened to Copter was his fault. He would cry himself to sleep every night thinking about Copter.

That poor guy doesn't deserve all this, but still, everything that happens was out of their control. All they could do now was supporting him. And care for him.
